NOT A WORKOUT OR FITNESS RELATED REEL TODAY 🤍🤍

Just me sending you a reminder that it's okay to have messy days. It's already been 10 days since I arrived in Adelaide, and life is all over the place, but that's totally okay! Embrace change when it comes. Live in the present moment for a meaningful time and accept what's to come. Life is unpredictable, so enjoy it.

Despite the messy situation, I've been working on something that will be alive soon, and it's for this little community! I cannot wait to share it with you

Hi everyone! I want to take the time to introduce myself. As this community is growing, I thought it would be nice to get to know each other a bit more.

My name is Mary, I am Italian-Polish born and raised in Italy and currently living in Sydney. I have been traveling and living around the world since 2012.

Wanna guess my star sign? I am a scorpio. This should be telling you everything (If you are a bit familiar with star signs). I am a cocktail of personalities. I can be extremely stubborn, hot headed and determined but I can also be the sweetest person on earth and highly sensitive on the inside. I also strive for all areas in my life. Work, family, friends and myself. I believe because Italian culture encourages empathy, passion and love.

I am so passionate about fitness and it’s always been one of my dreams working in this industry and helping women all around the world to achieve a healthy body and mind. However, can I tell you the truth? My purpose and mission weren’t so clear from day one. It took me years of travelling, mistakes and endless tears to understand this was my journey.

Even though I am passionate about it, I was so scared to make it as a career. I don’t even remember how many times I was about to giving up. I was so scared to build an online community, share thoughts, contents on social media and talk in the stories. And honestly I am so glad I had the courage to step out of my comfort zone.

Now I have been working as a fitness trainer for the past 4 years and I have been working online for the past one. The journey to work fully online is still a “work in progress” but I would lie, if I say I am unfulfilled for how far I have come. Do you know when they say “do what you love and you will never work a day”? I know, it’s a cliche’ but isn’t it so true? Find your dream job and I promise you, you won’t work a day in life, for real.

Now that I shared a brief introduction of my journey, I really would love to hear your stories, who you are and what you love ❤️Let me know in the comment!

I still remember the day I decided to start my fitness career, roughly 5 years ago. I have always been in love with sports but I’ve never thought about transforming my passion into my career.

When I landed in this beautiful country, Australia, I saw the opportunity to make it happen. Surrounded by many inspired people I took the courage and worked hard for it.

I still remember when I moved to Bondi, simultaneously when I started my certificate, I walked into the apartment, nice, bright and cozy and on the kitchen corner was hidden this cute painting depicting a girl standing on a tree pose with a quote “remember why you started”. It had created a sense of responsibility.

Since that day I’ve been carrying the painting with me. It helps me to remember, when things get tough, to hold on, take a rest and remind myself why I started. Why I’m doing it. Why is it so important to me to carry on.

What is your favourite meaningful quote?☀️

Happy Monday🤍

✨Method to stop feeling overwhelmed✨

This morning i've woke up feeling a bit overwhelmed and anxious. I've always thought being multi-tasking is a skill but the truth is managing different duties at the same time leads to not completing even one action fully.

Since we came back in lockdown I try to take advantage of the situation and use this time wisely, every day for three weeks I was adding new ideas and new ideas to my learning bucket list and unconsciously I was overstressed.

I was speaking to my grandma the other day. I told her I want to learn a new language, Portuguese, a romance language. She asked " Why would you put so much effort right now in something which is not your priority?" and the truth is that actually isn't my priority. We get caught up in the situation and we get disoriented by external factors, social media influencers, trends and not focusing on what we really want for ourselves. Give some thoughts and reset your goals and proritisations. If your goal is to be a singer why would you focus on drawing skills now? If you want to be a marathon runner why would you focus on building muscle?

Brainstorming is a great tool and way of clearing your mind so you can visualise where you want to be. break down your goals into mini goals and stick to them. Focus on the topics that lead you closer to your goals. Some days you will be superactive, other days you won't  - it's ok, don't beat yourself up.

start your brainstorming now if you feel lost

✨Why should you hit your daily steps?✨

If you had to reduce your daily steps for your circumstances, you are on a fat loss diet but if you manage your weekly workout plan you better hit your steps.
Even though you are hitting your calorie deficit (planned before lockdown) you are not actually creating a deficit on your calorie intake.

You are currently sitting on a different calorie maintenance (lower) consequently your deficit should be a bit lower. What that means, what you think you eat doesn’t create a deficit but actually might do the opposite. Either maintain or even surplus.

Choose and plan a time of the day to manage and hit your steps or simply intake slightly less calories compared to your original calories goal so you can actually create a deficit and stick to your plan.

Move your body🦋
