🐧 END OF AN ERA 🚨

☀️ In a season and team that almost wasn’t meant to happen... The MENGUINS proudly finish 2nd in the SL1 • State Championships. From a squad of 13 to only 8 for the grand final ~ it was always going to be a tough ask to pull the W against a strong team who hadn’t lost all season. Nonetheless, it was a special feeling to win our Semi Final with so many of the squad away... 🙏 Special shoutouts to for sharing (the real MVP of the competition) with us. Honourable mentions are also owed to Will () for taking such superb photos for many of our games, for supporting our team, carrying all our ENDURA water bottles and rocking the MENGUINS team tshirts! Team Disken for always doing the table and clock. And finally a shoutout to the boys who made this 2019 squad possible... Definitely going to remain a personal favourite season in Victoria to remember... (entry by .barko 🐧)

🐧 SEMI-FINAL WIN 14-10 🚨

☀️ WHAT A NIGHT... In a semi final with a stacked Tigers 🐯 filled with Ex-National League players / Current Aussie Youth Next Gen players, the MENGUINS 🐧 looked in trouble with many of the squad away for finals... But with the experienced defence (from ) protecting the goals, a Mr. Cross-Bar 👑 scoring to keep us ahead and Barkoczy scoring 9 out of 10 shots taken - the MENGUINS combined efforts created a 14-10 win to close a strong victory against a very hungry Richmond team! 🙌🔥🔥

During a summer training camp, he got into a fight with a Serbian player and got punched. Deano was sidelined for 2 weeks with bruised ribs 🙌🔥🔥
