Hey folks,
In case you've been wondering what happened, I've been injured . A 23mm tear in my calf to be exact. Since then I have dropped running and took up cycling. It has been a lot of fun and a lot less painful.
This month I am participating in the Great Cycle Challenge. I made a goal to ride 310km this month in order to punch childhood cancer in the throat. I would greatly appreciate it if you could support me in my cause.

Went running Wednesday night in Brisbane. It reaffirmed three things.
1) I HATE hills.
2) I HATE humidity.
3) I'm not the same runner I was 10 years ago.
Time has slowed me down tremendously. I remember running 5k in under 30min and 10k in under an hour. Time to kick things into gear and reclaim some of my former speed and tolerance for slopes.

Hey folks,
Quick update. I ran 21kms this week & rode 50kms. Found out the marathon I was training for got cancelled. 😓
Luckily Coastal Run is holding 5 marathons in July.
Still working on my rhythm. I’m happy with my time improvements.
