What is progressive overload and how do we implement it?

Progressive overload is a fundamental concept in weight training that involves gradually increasing the demands on your musculoskeletal system to continuously drive muscle growth & strength improvements.

By consistently challenging your muscles with increased weights, reps & intensity, we encourage our body to adapt & develop.

This technique not only helps enhance physical aesthetics but also boosts overall physical performance, ensuring that your training remains effective & achieveable.

Feeling those winter blues? You’re not alone. Winter can be a tough time to stay motivated with our fitness routines. The shorter days and colder weather makes it tempting to stay cozy indoors. But getting back into your routine can do wonders for your mood and overall well-being. Here are some tips to help you prioritize your fitness, sleep, hydration, and sunshine to beat those winter blues.

1. Prioritize Your Sleep 😴
Good sleep is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night.

2. Hydrate Like a Bad Bi**h 💦
It’s easy to forget to drink water when it’s cold outside, but staying hydrated is crucial. Water helps maintain your energy levels, aids in digestion, and keeps your skin looking fresh.

3. Soak Up Some Sunshine ☀️
Natural sunlight can boost your mood and help regulate your sleep patterns. Try to spend some time outdoors each day, even if it’s just a short walk during your lunch break.

4. Get Moving 🙌🏽
Exercise is a powerful mood booster. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a home workout, or a gym session, aim to get moving for at least 30 minutes a day.

5. Stay Connected 🍸
Social interaction is important for mental health, especially during the winter months.

Getting back into your routine doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Start with small, manageable steps and gradually build up. Remember, it’s about progress, not perfection 🩷🩷

Let’s talk about the power of manifestation ✨

Manifestation is the process of bringing something into reality by the power of intention, belief & focused thought. It is frequently linked to the law of attraction, which states that like attracts like and & our thoughts and emotions can form our exterior experiences 🔮

So, how do we implement manifestation into our day-to-day? When it comes to bringing your desires to life, there are several practical methods that can aid you on your journey. These approaches help you synchronize your thoughts, feeling & actions with your goals

Setting specific goals, visualizing success, using affirmations, practicing gratitude, taking inspired action, letting go of resistance, fostering a supportive environment, journaling, being patient & having faith are all potent techniques for manifestation. Keep in mind that manifesting is an ongoing process that requires dedication and confidence

By implementing these strategies, you harmonize your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with your desires, making it more likely for them to materialise 💫
