💚 ALLAN SANDERY 💚

Every club has people who make a difference.
Then there are people like Allan Sandery, who have spent more than 20 years quietly making the whole place better.

A lot of people see things getting done around the club and probably think they just happen. The truth is, behind almost every little improvement is someone giving up their own time - and for decades, Allan has been one of those people.

Across the cricket, football and sporting clubs, he has done thousands of the little jobs that most people never see. Jobs that take time, patience, precision and genuine care.

He’s one of the first people to welcome you into the club, one of the first to have a chat about sport, one of the first to encourage someone to pull on an Ingle Farm jumper - and almost always one of the first to put his hand up when somebody needs help.

If you noticed the concrete and front of the changerooms being cleaned every week throughout footy season - that was Allan.

If you noticed the mess around the bottom of the club disappearing and the area looking better - that was Allan.

And now he’s onto the next job, working his way through thousands of little squares around the club, removing years of weeds and dirt one by one.

Some people might look at something like that and think, “Why bother?”

Because club pride is built on the little things.

It’s built by people who care enough to do the jobs nobody asks them to do.

People who don’t need recognition.

People who simply want to leave the place better than they found it.

For more than 20 years, Allan has done exactly that.

You can’t put a number on the hours he has given to Ingle Farm or the impact he has had behind the scenes.

People like Allan are the heartbeat of community sporting clubs.

A volunteer. A supporter. A great club person. And, without question, an Ingle Farm legend.

Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do, Allan.

Your work, your loyalty and your love for the Farm will never go unnoticed. 💚🤍

💙 Supporting Mental Health in Our Football Community 💙

The Ingle Farm Sporting Club in conjunction with the Ingle Farm Football Club is proud to be fundraising for Beyond Blue to help raise awareness and support mental health within our football community.

As part of this initiative, all junior players will wear blue armbands:
🔹 Round 9 – in support of the Sammy D Foundation Round
🔹 Round 10 – in support of Beyond Blue

Mental health affects so many people, and together we can help make a real difference.

We would greatly appreciate your support by making a donation and sharing our fundraising link with your family and friends. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps support the important work Beyond Blue does for individuals and families across Australia.

Thank you for helping us stand together for mental health. 💙
