This circuit from the just released book Training and Conditioning for MMA is a model for developing power and muscular endurance and lasts approx. five minutes to simulate rounds of a fight. The number of repetitions varies according to the number of rounds that the athlete is going to fight. For example, for athletes who compete in up to three rounds, we have one general warm-up round, one specific warm-up round, and three rounds of the circuit. Normally, the general warm-up has aerobic exercises, such as running or cycling, and stretching.
