Thanks to Supashock for welcoming a number of our juniors for work experience, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at one of South Australia’s leading advanced manufacturing companies.

A special thank you to Supashock CEO Oscar Fiorinotto, for making this opportunity possible.

It was also great to see the SA Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science Chris Picton MP visit, alongside our Club President Arthur Labrosciano, to celebrate the importance of creating pathways and opportunities for young people.

This was a fantastic opportunity for these players during the school holiday to visit one of SA’s best 👌

The Collegiate Teams paid there respects to club legend Dom Pinneri on Saturday honouring him with a minutes silence before both games and wearing the black armbands as a mark of respect to Dom. Unfortunately though the Seniors went down in a very tight contest and are now out of the cup.

This week Fulham are away to Pembroke again in the league.

Today, Fulham United stood as one 🤍🖤

Before kick-off, every team observed a 1-minute silence, wearing black armbands in honour of our cherished committee member and club legend, Dom Pinneri.

A powerful moment of unity and respect for a man who gave so much to our club.

Forever in our colours. Forever in our hearts, Dom 🤍🖤

FULHAM UNITED FC CLUB STATEMENT

Vale – Domenic “Dom” Pinneri 🕊️

Who is Dom some of our newer Fulham Faces may ask, well buckle up and let us tell you all about an on and off the field legend.

Dom arrived at the club in 1993 and since then had been an integral part of the club until his passing.

When Dom arrived at the club he was virtually unknown to most and began playing in the C grade but quickly worked his way up to the A team at the ripe old age of 31.

Dom always said very little and tried not to show a lot of emotion but he had a heart of gold.

On the field he earned the nickname “the smiling assassin” as he was not loud or would stand out but would just get the job done no matter what it took.

Dom was the ultimate team man on the field as he was a club man later in his life.

Dom played a number of years at the club and featured in league and cup championship wins in the Reserves.

The Reserve Cup win in 2000 at that time was the 1st time Fulham had ever won a cup in any grade.

Dom also scored in that game (and Dom rarely scored goals) and was always a topic of conversation when old team mates got together.

Dom would also talk about that game and always remind people that he scored in that cup final.

Dom also coached the C team 1 year and also won a championship with that team.

The team was full of players he had played with when playing in the Seniors (but a lot older now) and Dom would coach on the sidelines like he was Carlo Ancelotti - saying very little but enough to get the team going.

The championship was won in the last 10 minutes of the last game of the season and Dom would often bring up that game and season as he was very proud of coaching that team which had a lot of his friends playing in it.

He served many years on the committee and has the club barman and up until last year when he had to step down due to his illness, he was at the time the longest serving committee member.

To all that was and still is involved with Fulham United, Dom definitely was the pulse of our club.

He was our go to man and the one we could rely on. His passion, bluntness and different humour made him one of a kind.

His love for the Fulham juniors and the clubrooms at Collins became a big part of his life and for all that we will forever be in his debt and may he now rest in peace.

On behalf of everyone at Fulham United, we thank Dom for over 30 years of dedication, friendship and service.

His legacy will live on through our club and the many lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Dom. You’ll always be a Fulham legend. 🖤🤍
