Welcome to Week 14 Aqua Move of the week πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸŽ‰ πŸ’¦

Week 14 is Choreography πŸ‘―β€β™€οΈ

Today has put together a little arm Choreography sequence.

πŸ’™ commence with an 8 count on each movement and then slowly break this down as follows:

πŸ’™ 8 count
πŸ’™ 6 count
πŸ’™ 4 count
πŸ’™ 2 count

πŸ’™ when your participants have nailed it then add on new moves.

Tips....
πŸ“repeat and check in with your participants as you add new movements
πŸ“know your music and bpm
πŸ“make it fun enjoyable for everyone

Week 13 is Rock N Rolls

Today Adel Way’s Fitness has put together a rock n roll combo using the wall of the pool and also options for level 1 (supported hold) level 2 (hands free)

πŸ’™ level 1 - supported hold with alternating leg slides
πŸ’™ level 2 - alternating high knees

πŸ’™ level 1 - supported hold jumping jacks on the wall
πŸ’™ level 2 - suspended jumping jacks on wall

πŸ’™ level 1 - supported rock n roll

πŸ’™ level 2 - suspended rock n roll

Tips....
πŸ“stabilize through the core to avoid hyper extension in lumbar region (lower back)
πŸ“level 2 ensure to keep those arms moving to support each of the moves and keep you close to the wall
πŸ“push back those legs off the wall with your rock n roll and use your core to pull them back through.

Welcome to Week 11 Aqua Move of the week πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸŽ‰ πŸ’¦

Week 11 is Jumps

Today has put together four jump variations in a tabata format

πŸ’¦ Rockets - push off the floor straighten the legs and push both arms backwards.
πŸ’¦ Explosive Jacks - push off the floor extend legs and arms outwards abduction and then pull back in adduction. Feet meet grounded in centre position along with arms.
πŸ’¦ Explosive Ski's - push off the floor extend opposite legs forward/backwards and meet grounded in centre position. Arms extend forwards/backwards opposite to the legs.
πŸ’¦ Tuck Jumps - push off the floor and tuck knees in towards chest, push both arms backwards simultaneously.

Tips....
πŸ“Utilise arms throughout each to assist with propulsion
πŸ“Incorporate these moves in any format - tabata, amrap, emom, combos, circuits.
πŸ“Switch on your core, squeeze your gluten, bend through the knees when grounding.

Week 10 is Push-up's

Today has put together push-up variations utilising a pool noodle.

πŸ’¦ two hands on pool noodle in front of body pushing towards pool floor
πŸ’¦ standing push-up's fully grounded
πŸ’¦ single leg extension each side
πŸ’¦ alternating rebounding leg extensions

πŸ’¦ Switch noodle behind back and repeat above

Tips....
πŸ“Switch on the core muscles to assist with balance
πŸ“Demonstrate to your participants on pool deck using a pool noodle
πŸ“Perform these push-up's with or without equipment and adjust to suit your participants

Today has put together a combo using the Liquid Gloves from using vertical hands & horizontal hands in various holds including - jabs, jab/cross & hooks. Initiate Arm Burn πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

Tips....
πŸ’¦ switch on the core and stabilse feet on the pool floor
πŸ’¦ allow freedom of movement through the side obliques to assist with punches... this will also give them a little workout
πŸ’¦ be sure to cue your participants on the change between vertical & horizontal hands
πŸ’¦ keep shoulders and arms down in the water to avoid tension on the neck and jaw
πŸ’¦ Bring on the arm burn πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺ🏻πŸ₯Š
