So where does the fundraising from the Sandy Running Festival actually goβ
Last year, together we raised $25,347.00!
Half of those funds helped support local midwives in Lukodi, Northern Uganda, provide safe birthing services for more than 400 mothers and babies.
The other half helped complete a paediatric ward in Tonj, South Sudan, a country with the highest maternal mortality rates in the world.
πΈ This photo was taken inside the new ward in Tonj, South Sudan that last years Sandy Running Festival helped complete π«ΆπΌ
This year funds raised will focus on prenatal care and fighting malaria, which poses a serious risk to mothers and babies during pregnancy.
Support the 2026 Sandy Running Festival and help continue the life saving work! ππ½ββοΈππ»ββοΈ
