August. 💗
What a beautiful, full month it’s been.
This was the month I made a conscious decision to start prioritising my health on a more serious level, putting more time and energy into my nutrition and exercise and looking after myself.
Blake and I celebrated our 17th Wedding Anniversary with a staycation in the city.
Kade turned 14, which I’m still trying to wrap my head around.
I made more time for beautiful breakfasts and lunches with dear girlfriends, something I definitely want more of.
And work was wonderfully full too.
There were Westfield styling sessions, Shop and Style sessions, Style Starter Experiences, Mix & Match sessions and an incredible photoshoot with Westfield.
I ran a corporate workshop on personal branding, met and collaborated with some beautiful small businesses, attended a fabulous Serafina event and the Brave + True spring launch, spent time visiting and supporting local boutiques along our beautiful coastline and finished the month running a Confident with Colour workshop for a lovely group of friends.
Looking back through my camera roll has made me realise just how much was packed into one month, and how grateful I am for all of it.
For my family.
For my friendships.
For my health.
For the work I get to do with my beautiful clients.
For the local businesses and women I get to connect and collaborate with.
And for yummy food shared with people I love.
More of that, please. 🥰
August, you were pretty special. 🥹
And now SPRING! 🌸🌈
I’m so ready for warmer days, spring outfits and all the goodness the next few months will bring as we head towards the end of another year. 💗 x

One of the things I love most about Instagram and the work that I do, is all the beautiful creatives and small businesses I have the pleasure of discovering, connecting and collaborating with. 🥰
I’ve always been really passionate about supporting small and local businesses, so when Norma from Mrs.McPearl reached out (I found her page through my beautiful friend Kerryn Rutherford | Aura Personal Styling ), it was an absolute pleasure to collaborate.
Norma personally sources vintage beads from different places around the country and she then handcrafts them into these beautiful, colourful necklaces. No two are quite the same which is one of the reasons I love them so much.
Some are semi-precious stones, crystals and pearls, and many of them have already had a whole life before becoming part of a Mrs. McPearl necklace.
I just love the idea of taking something vintage, giving it another life and creating something completely unique from it.
And of course, I LOVE that my necklace is pink (my favourite colour). 🩷
Thank you Norma for such a beautiful gift and for introducing me to Mrs. McPearl. It’s always such a pleasure being able to share and support small business. 🙌🏻
Norma has also very kindly given me a discount code to share with you. You can view her collection online mrsmcpearl.com and if you fall in love with one of her pieces too, you can use BEC20 for 20% off your purchase. 🩷 x

One of the things I love most about understanding my colours is how much more fun it makes getting dressed. 🙌🏻
When I put this outfit together, I realised just how much I naturally use my personalised colour swatch when I’m choosing what to wear.
The soft green of my jacket. The grey in my jeans. The chocolate brown of my bag. Even the pink of my lipstick.
They’re all colours I can find within my personalised palette.
And this is where I think understanding your colours becomes so useful.
It’s not just about knowing which colour top to buy.
Over time, you start to build a wardrobe of colours that work beautifully together, which means you have more options for mixing and matching and putting outfits together.
You can use your colours when you’re choosing clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery, makeup, glasses and even your nail colour.
And because your personalised colour swatch is digital, you’ve always got your colours right there on your phone, whether you’re getting dressed at home or out shopping.
And the more you play with them, the easier it becomes.
For me, colour analysis has never felt like being given a list of colours I can and can’t wear.
It’s been the complete opposite.
It’s given me so many more ideas for what I could wear. And I think that’s what makes it so much fun.
If you’d love to discover your own personalised colours, you can book a Colour Analysis with me as a standalone service, as part of my Style Starter Experience, or get a group of friends together and make an experience of it.
You can find all the details via the link in my bio, or send me a DM if you’d like to know more. 🥰
