What is mental health yoga?
More than just Asana (physical postures), mental health yoga combines the Yamas and Niyamas to feel peace toward yourself and your external surroundings.
A cultivation of kindness & compassion towards yourself and others, a balance between and effort and ease and surrendering to sensations and emotions that arise and really allowing yourself to feel them & process - these are all elements that support you on your mental health healing journey through yoga.

May 2022 • Group Classes at Somerton Yacht Club.
As some of you know, I have spent the last couple of months trying to organise a place where I can hold my own yoga classes. Accessibility and affordability has been a goal and priority of mine from the very beginning of my yoga teaching career because I believe that yoga should be something that everyone can have access to.
With an emphasis on self care, cultivating kindness to oneself and others and mental health - these classes are created with you in mind.
Classes commence the first Friday of May. Sign up to a 5 or 10 class pass or drop in for a casual session! Classes must be booked online via Punchpass - you will need to create an account to book but it’s super easy I promise you!
Join me for
• Yoga Flow @ 9:30am
• Yin Yoga @ 4:30pm
Both held on Fridays.
I’m so so so excited to be leading these classes and I cannot wait to get started.

a little yoga announcement for you all… ♡
Yin Yoga will be commencing this Sunday at 5:45pm-6:30pm, following the 4:30pm Yoga class with me at Derrimut Noarlunga.
PLEASE BRING: a towel or 2 and maybe a pillow or a blanket. This practice will be modified to not necessarily need props but they will absolutely be of benefit!
Yin Yoga is a softer, more traditional style of yoga and compliments a stronger, dynamic practice (like your weight training & other group fitness classes). It involves long holds of 3-5 minutes and is designed to improve connective tissue such as tendons, ligaments & fascia. It also stimulates and cultivates a flow of energy through the body.
The power of Yin is in time, rather than muscular effort.
Come explore this alternative, interoceptive practice with me this Sunday.

I am overwhelmed with the support I have received since launching my page here on Facebook and I just wanted to thank you all so much!
Some of you who follow me aren’t my friends on Facebook who I invited so if that’s you I’m so glad you found your way here.
