Have had the pleasure of being involved in Kate's training since I first started Personal Training at

Kate has made some serious improvements since her first bikini competition 18 months ago (Delts, Waist, Glutes I'm looking at you πŸ‘€πŸ‘€) by following strict programs written by myself, and her current bodybuilding coach

Since moving to Gawler, PT sessions with Kate have been few and far between, so it was good fun to catch up this morning to train! It's always a pleasure 😁πŸ’ͺ

Something I get asked a lot is "how many exercises should I do?" There's no perfect way of answering this question because everyone is different, however I have provided an example of how many exercises I do per muscle group. You'll see that I average approximately 8-9 exercises per day (53 total exercises split into 6 days). I have a strong emphasis on Legs, Shoulders (particularly side delts), and Triceps as my personal goal is to build these areas more to catch up with other areas of my body. Everyone's goal is different, so what works for me won't necessarily work for everybody, but this is at least a good start point to give you an idea.

2 months of self managed rehab, after copping a really annoying knee injury, led to my first official PROPER leg day back today. Completed completely pain free PLUS even hit a couple of new Personal Bests. Absolutely fkn stoked. Matt: 1 Toyota Camry Car Door: 0

Now it's time to get these Christmas Hams looking bigger 😝

For those that don't know, I have a history of working directly with disadvantaged youth and with people living with a disability. I am able to put my skills from working in these fields to good use in Personal Training as well. Half the reason that I love my job is that I can speak with so many different members of , not just my PT clients.

was telling me about her efforts on the assisted chin up machine earlier in the week and I challenged her to get a feel for even less assistance for slightly less reps, just to see how the increased difficulty feels. Well she dropped the assistance and absolutely killed it! Karlee has been training at the gym for a while now and I love hearing about her progress in the gym.

Shout out to all of the other awesome members absolutely smashing it in silence! I see you πŸ«£πŸ‘€

Have had a few recent sessions with friends which have been more traditional "bro split" workouts, as opposed to the full body training I've been doing for the last 12 months. I forgot how much I enjoyed a bro split and looks like it's time to go back to it.

Forgot how good a full chest pump feels after a massive chest workout πŸ™ˆπŸ’ͺ

Chest days from now on going to look something like this:

1. Flat Dumbbell Press
2. Pec Flye
3. Iso Press Machine
4. Flat Bench Press
5. Cable Flyes Super Set with Push Ups
6. Incline Dumbbell Press
