AFL SA Masters is back this weekend and the mighty Phantoms Over 35's are finally at home this Sunday at Phantom Park (Camden Oval).

🕒 Game 2 - 3:00pm: Happy Valley AFL Masters vs Peninsula Magpies AFL Masters

It’s also our Annual Family Day, so bring the whole crew — partners, kids, parents, and the fur babies. Grab a cold drink from the bar and enjoy a steak sandwich or snag from the BBQ thanks to our awesome sponsor, The Local Meat Glenelg.

And just like that Season 2026 is upon us!

Ok legends, don’t forget Wednesday night trainings start next week 4th March! It’s bring a friend along night, so if you have a mate that has been thinking of playing, but has yet to, bring them along! Bbq & Beers afterwards as usual!

Don’t forget, training session tomorrow night 10th Dec) at Colley Reserve, starting at 6pm! Light run, some ballwork and then head over to one of our key sponsors Pier Glenelg for our last Schnitzel night for 2025!

Lachy and the team at the Pier are going to look after us with a few hydrating ales after training, so let’s get a good group together (and families!!) for a final catchup before the end of the year!!

What a year it’s been for the mighty Phantoms Over 35s! We welcomed several new faces to the squad and were lucky enough to see a couple of old legends pull the boots back on...proving once again that Phantom spirit never fades.

From hard-fought battles on the field to plenty of laughs and camaraderie off it, the PHOSal’s continue to show what true team spirit looks like.

A massive thank you to our loyal sponsors, supporters, families and everyone who cheered us on throughout the season, your energy means the world. And to our teammates: your commitment, sportsmanship and passion make this team something truly special.

On Saturday, we wrapped things up with our annual AGM and 100 Club and it was a day to remember! We proudly welcomed two new Life Members into that elite group...congratulations to Ash Simpson and Shane Gilby for your incredible dedication to the Phantoms over many, many years.

Big shout out to Trav Thomas, who was awarded the "Sav Cup" as Club Person of the Year and to Kris Richardson, who received the "MAFS SA Footy for Fun Medal" for embodying the true spirit of Masters Footy. Well deserved, legends!

Round 1 of AFL Masters National Carnival completed & mixed results for Phantoms Over 35's Football Club representatives.

Luke Crossling & Rob McNeil started the day off well with a great win.

Andrew David Johnson in the 45s faced the home side, who def handled conditions better sneaking away with a 3 goal margin.

The star studded 50s of Kris Richardson KatnJamie Richardson Trav Thomas Ash Simpson Ben Tiver fell agonisingly short after a controversial decision late in the game, which sealed the game.

All teams are still alive for Championship contention & ready to hit the beers today before focusing on Round 2 glory
