Well, itβs a wrap!
The 2026 Coastal Classic and State Titles are Done!!
Over 9 days we hosted over 35 competitors . The racing was electric, the fun was addictive and the coast really turned it on.
There were winds from 0 knots to 30 knots, Sailors from 15 to 70, ultra marathons, Victorians, beach starts, slalom and course racing - from the rocks of Marino all the way down to the Adelaide Sailing Club (and back!).
The Pigs Ribs tore up the Board Sailors Ball, and we all look forward to the next one!
Here are some of my favourite pics from the events.
Cheers from Wallyworld - SA!

Day 2 of the States, joined by a 3.5m Bronze Whaler.
A shark scare has interrupted the Windsurfer State Heats at Seacliff.
Racing resumed once surf life savers gave all clear.

Well, that is the SA States done and dusted!
Such a great weekend, even though the marathon was cancelled due to high winds and...Sharks! Two of them!!
Sunday saw 7 course races in a fantastic 15-20 knot sea breeze.
Well done to everyone who participated! Can't wait until next year!π€©

Hi everyone!
I am thinking of doing a regular video called "Ask 337" where I answer a viewer's question each episode.
Does anyone have anything that you would like to know more about the Windsurfer LT or sailing in general? Anything at all!
* Where do you have your harness lines set?
* What is your fastest ever speed?
* What do you do in the off-season to keep fit?
* Who is your favorite Ninja Turtle?
Anything at all (well maybe not Ninja Turtles)

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be involved with the Marcello Costa Long-range Windsurfing challenge in honour of our good friend, inspiration and pioneer of adventure sailing - Marcello Costa.
Originally planned in conjunction with the Clayton Bay Boat Club's Rat Race event, we were sadly forced to cancel our participation in this event due to SA Health's warnings regarding the Blue Green Algae present in the lower Murray River.
Instead, we set off from Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club and sailed up the coast to Halley Cove where we touched down amongst the crashing waves.
The ride back was a spectacular broad-reach averaging speeds of roughly 16 knots. Here is some 360 degree footage of my journey back. As usual, make sure you switch to the highest resolution 2160p for the clearest picture.
I hope to bring you more Marcello Costa inspired journeys in the future!
