Win, Lose or Draw The MatLab Grappling Academy is always proud when our Students step in to the competition arena.

Charlie Thomas did an incredible job with some amazing Submission threats and although not walking away with the win tonight, he showed why he is a fan favourite across the entire state.

Along with this, Charlie's passion and commitment to development is second to none, and we looking forward to utilising this experience as a platform for progress in the coming weeks with even more opportunities right around corner.

Thank you to MsixteenSubmissionSeries for providing these opportunities for young talent to rise.

Fun Day at AFBJJ SOUTH AUSTRALIA state Championships!

ريّان ☝️ In his First Competition representing MatLab picked up Gold in his Division, becoming a first time State Champion!

We are extremely proud of this young man as he has listened and learned, applied himself and progressed greatly since joining the team. This will certainly be the first of many strong competitions for the youngster with so much growth and development to come.

We also had the pleasure of Coaching and Supporting friends of the Lab today as well with Ashton Earning Double Gold and Daniel Scholes Picking Up Silvers in their divisions aswell!

Ashton and Luke are both participants of Coach Nick Hughes Online Coaching Programme and also attended training this week at The MatLab.

One of the most rewarding things in the Sport is to see the progress of those who put in the effort such as these awesome individuals.
Well Done and a huge acknowledgement of their respective teams bjjfactorygeelong and Misfits Grappling Club for lending us your best!

And of course, helping our great friends and team mates at Ascend Jiu Jitu is always an honour. Great work Ivan Heenan and Daniel Jennings for their medals and sportsmanship!
