Season 2026 Update

Please take a moment to read this important and heartfelt message regarding our Juniors program for Season 2026. A sincere thank you to Luke Francis for putting these words together, we know it wasn’t easy.

We also want to recognise and thank the following for their incredible long-term support of our Juniors program:

No training Thursday 2nd April. 🐰
Due to the Easter long weekend, training has been cancelled we wish everyone safe an happy Easter

Due to unforeseen circumstances Training tonight is cancelled. Apologies for late notice. Back to it next week

Season 2026 kicks into gear this Thursday 5th February as junior training resumes 5 til 6pm.
Come along bring a friend get a touch of the footy and fun with your friends. We"re looking forward to an exciting season ahead.

We're also still on hunt for Coaches and volunteers for variety of roles, come have a chat, support our littlest hawks to reach their biggest dreams

Seeking Junior Coaches
Looking for passionate people with interests in helping create an build a supportive inclusive junior football club while inspiring our next generation of footy stars.

Role will include:
-Plan and deliver engaging, supportive encourage and inclusive training sessions and game days to develop skills of young athletes
-'Foster positive, respectful team culture
-Work closely with committee volunteers and families

What you'll need:
-Knowledge of AFL Rules and game expectations
-No experienced necessary- we can support the right person to develop an grow in the position
-Good communication and leadership skills
-Ability to connect with kids of young age create supportive learning environment
-Coaching Accreditation and DCSI clearance required, however we will support to obtain

We invite our junior hawks to join us for a fun skills focused preseason training to get ready for season 2026.
5pm til 6pm
-Thursday 4th December
-Thursday 11th December
-Thursday 18th December
We will wrap up on 18th with a Sausage Sizzle

Bring the kids down and have some fun, see footy mates and enjoy improving those footy skills.
You may even enjoy a drink and a meal together in the clubroom later.

Join us for Junior Presentations at 6:00 PM as we celebrate our players and their fantastic efforts this season.

Families and siblings welcome and encouraged to attend.

Then, it's time to hit the dance floor and celebrate the year in style!

we recently brought the community together for a footy clinic at West Croydon Hawks and celebrated a new beginning for the club! thanks to Coles and Nova 919, we provided them new equipment, important awareness and hopefully a bunch of new junior players for 2026 👏

What an awesome day to end our junior season.
A huge thank you to Port Adelaide Football Club, Coles and Nova 919 also SANFL for helping us with our footy life line event. Days like these are vital for connecting with our community and growing our members base. 💛🤎
