I just wanted to put this out here,
Since the start of the Loxton Australian Titles, I've been working relentlessly to get these photos sorted for everyone, from my customers, to people interested in purchasing photos, and those who simply want to have a look at the photos I captured throughout the event.
Unfortunately, I feel as though I've let a lot of you down, and I want to be honest about that.
I've been working on photos throughout the night during the Titles, trying to get through as much as possible and make sure everyone gets the photos they're waiting for. To put things into perspective, I only managed to get around 11 hours of sleep between Thursday and Monday, which, looking back, was far from ideal.
By the end of the Titles, I had captured a total of 19,990 photos. With so many competitors, teams, and people wanting photos, there was a lot to get through. Capturing photos of as many people as possible is a big part of what I do, and I never want anyone to feel left out. However, I'll be the first to admit that I took on too much, too quickly, and eventually became overwhelmed by the sheer volume of photos I had to sort through, edit, and upload.
Despite this, I continued pushing myself to get as much done as I could with the time and energy I had available. My intention was never to leave anyone waiting or make anyone feel forgotten. I genuinely wanted to get these photos out to everyone as quickly as possible, while still delivering work that I could be proud of.
Moving forward, I need to take a step back and look at how I manage large events like this. I want to improve the way I organise, sort, and deliver photos so that I can provide a better experience for everyone who supports my work. I also need to be more realistic with the amount of work I take on and the time it takes to complete it properly.
To everyone who has been waiting on photos, sent me messages, purchased photos, or supported my photography throughout the Loxton Australian Titles, I sincerely apologise for the delays and any disappointment caused. I appreciate your patience more than you know.
