Myth: The number of apartments has been confirmed.

Fact: No final number of apartments has been determined.

Council is yet to appoint a developer for the Prospect Lifestyle Precinct. While there is an endorsed Masterplan that provides a framework for the future precinct, there are currently no approved building designs or final development plans in place.

The State Government has approved planning provisions that allow for development of up to 12 storeys. However, this does not mean that 12-storey buildings or a particular number of apartments have been confirmed.

The preferred masterplan proposes a tiered approach to buildings along Main North Rd Road, increasing in height towards a maximum of 12 storeys. However, this is a preferred concept for the future precinct, not a final development plan.

Once a developer is appointed, more detailed plans and further decisions will be made about how the precinct is ultimately delivered.

As the project progresses and key decisions are made, Council will continue to keep the community informed and share updates.

SA Masters Games

Sport needs good governance. But it also needs people who understand sport from the ground up.

We're delighted to welcome Joshua Taylor to the Sport SA Board.

Josh is the Managing Partner of Taylor Wright Lawyers and has spent more than 15 years helping government, businesses, organisations and associations navigate everything from governance and employment law to contracts, compliance, dispute resolution and business growth.

What sets him apart is his practical approach, and while he brings significant legal and governance expertise to the Board, his connection to sport runs much deeper than his profession.

A four-time Queensland softball representative, Josh has also been an umpire, coach, volunteer, board member and administrator. He's officiated state championships, helped develop regional athletes and supported community sport at every level, as well as serving on several boards, giving him a firsthand understanding of the responsibilities and opportunities that come with strong governance.

We're excited to have Josh's experience, perspective and passion around the board table.
