Across South Australia, Estara has been a valued supporter of wheelchair rugby, helping strengthen the sport from grassroots participation through to state-level competition.

As the proud sponsor of the South Australia Sharks and the wider Wheelchair Rugby South Australia program, Estara has helped create more opportunities for athletes to train, compete and be part of our growing community. Their support continued into the 2026 Santos Wheelchair Rugby World Challenge, helping deliver another successful event on the international stage for our local athletes.

As a South Australian disability services provider and charity, Estara is committed to supporting people with spinal cord injury, neurological and related disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities, making them a natural fit for wheelchair rugby.

The official Pool Draw for the 2026 WWR World Championship will take place on May 28th at the Brazilian Paralympic Training Center, in São Paulo 🇧🇷 and live on the ABRC and WWR YouTube Channels at 10AM (BRT) ▶️ It will define the two groups for the World Championship, which will also be held at the venue this August. As host nation, Brazil will choose its group in the final stage of the draw The livestream will also introduce the official mascot 👀 The road to the 2026 WRWC has officialy begun 🌎♿ — 🇧🇷 O sorteio oficial dos grupos do 2026 WWR World Championship será realizado no dia 28 de maio, no Centro de Treinamento Paralímpico Brasileiro, em São Paulo 🇧🇷 com transmissão ao vivo nos canais da ABRC e da WWR no YouTube, às 10h (horário de Brasília) ▶️ O sorteio definirá os dois grupos do Mundial, que também será realizado aqui, em agosto.
