Hangover 96 Futsal Club

After a long season the boys of Hangover 96 FC have finished the season at equal second on the table but 3rd on goal difference. Hangover played in the quarterfinals last weekend and won 6-3. The boys are playing in the semi final tonight at 6:45 pm and if the boys can get over the line in the semi they will be playing in the final at 9:00 pm tonight. The team managed to make the final last season but lost 4-2 hopefully the boys can go one better this year. So get down to the Arc Futsal stadium tonight and show the boys some support. ⚽️⚽️❤️❤️

After last weeks 6-3 win against Studs Up FC Hangover 96 sit top of the table going into tonight's game against Salt Lake City FC at 9pm.

That's 2 from 2 for Hangover with a 4-1 win over A-Team. Throughout the match Hangover dominated but A-Team had lots of chances through quick breaking play. The first goal came just before half time from powerhouse player Romeo. Unfortunately straight after with seconds to go till half time A-Team scored off a unlucky deflection off Romeo. The second half continued like the first but this time Hangover converted their chances with Louis Centrone scoring 2 one being a ripper free kick and was unlucky not to have three after hitting the cross bar from a similar free kick as the one he scored. Greaves finishing off the game scoring from a rebound from his penalty.

Hangover had good start winning 2-1 against a well organised side in Goodfellas FC, Goodfellas proved hard to score against. Hangover went down 1-0 half way through the first half after dominating and even after the goal hangover still dominated. The boys went into the second half 1-0 down but got the score back to 1-1 thanks to a cut back goal by Duro Nonkovic. Then James Greaves stepped up scoring a thunder bolt assisted by Joe Romeo. Goodfellas got penalty from nothing but justice was done with them not be able to convert the penalty. Hangover had to work hard at the back in the final stages of the game to secure the result.

After a long preseason round 1 begins tonight for the Hangover 96 boys the match kicks off at 9pm and will be live streamed on Hangover 96 official page. Line ups will be posted an hour before kick off stay tuned.

Hangover have signed Louis Centrone on a one year deal. Centrone has represented South Australia at the Futsal national at the start of the year in Sydney alone with new team mates Dodds and Palombaro. Louis is a all round player, a pocket rocket on the court and Hangover are delighted to have him on board.

Hangover 96 are happy to announce the re-signing of star forward Andrew Scarfo and new player Sam Papillo. Scarfo the former SA state futsal player has signed for another year with the club. Scarfo will unfortunately be unable to play in the season opener on Sunday night at 9pm against Goodfellas due to injury but should be back in round 2. Papillo is a new signing for the club but you may have seen him playing last season in a 3 game guest contract in which he scored 4 goals. Papillo and Scarfo will be a great addition to the squad with strength on the ball and will add to the already great fire power the club has up front.

Hangover have been unsuccessful in resigning Jarod Ebert. Ebert had a big impact in the hangover midfield and will be miss in the upcoming season starting on Sunday night. The club wishes the big man all the best.

Hangover 96 FC Resigning

Hangover have resigned Duro Nonkovic and Joe Romeo last season heart of defence. Romeo leaves the supporters hanging off the edge of their seat with his bravery and commitment when going in for dangerous tackles and always coming out on top. Nonkovic has impressive ball skills and is handy player playing out from the back. Both Romeo and Nonkovic have sign 1 year deals.

Hangover 96 FC Resignings

Hangover is has had great success in resigning fan favourite Alessandro Palombaro as well as club captain and goalkeeper Jarred Dodds. Both Alessandro and Dodds represented South Australia in the Futsal Nationals after a successful season with Hangover. Alessandro is well know for his speed and goal scoring ability. Dodds had very good first season winning the leagues golden glove for best keeper and taking out the league best and fairest. Hangover are very privileged to hold on to these two for another season.
