🔴⚪️🔵ROOSTERS🔵⚪️🔴

What an incredible way to close out the season, Roosters.

From our littlest Roosters in the Under 6s and Under 8s, right through to our Under 17s then to our amazing senior women — what a way to finish the season.

The sunshine, the crowds, the noise, the laughter, the nerves, the cheers and the incredible support from our Roosters family made it a day that we will remember for a long time.

Firstly, to NRL SA and the incredible team behind the scenes, thank you for allowing us to host the Grand Final once again. It truly is an honour for our club to be trusted with such a huge day, and we cannot thank you enough for the opportunity.

To our Roosters parents — we see you, and we appreciate you more than words can say. ❤️
The early mornings, the rushing around, the packed bags, the jerseys, the boots and the endless questions…

"Do you have your shoes?"
"Do you have your mouthguard?"
"Where's your water bottle?" 😂

You give up your weekends, your time and sometimes your sanity 😂 to get these kids onto the field. You cheer them on, pick them up when things don't go their way and celebrate every little win with them.
Thank you for trusting us with your kids and for being such a huge part of our club.

To every single volunteer who has given their time this season — thank you.
Whether you've spent hours in the canteen, cooked a BBQ, helped on game day, run water, set up fields, packed everything away or simply stepped in when someone needed a hand… you are the reason our club keeps moving.

We know that volunteering isn't always easy. Sometimes it means giving up time with your own family, being at the fields before everyone else and leaving long after everyone has gone home.

Please know that it doesn't go unnoticed. ❤️

To our hard-working committee, thank you for everything that happens behind the scenes.

The meetings, the messages, the phone calls, the planning, the organising, the early mornings, the late nights, the set-ups and the pack-downs.
There are so many things that happen that nobody sees, and sometimes it's easy to forget just how much goes into running a club.

But you keep showing up. You keep putting the club and our players first, and you keep doing everything you can to make this place the best it can be.

Thank you. ❤️💙🤍

And to our amazing sponsors, both our returning sponsors and those who joined our Roosters family this season — thank you for believing in us and investing in our club.
Your support helps us provide opportunities for our players, and we are incredibly grateful to have you standing beside us.

To our amazing competition

A special thank you to our fellow clubs who have shared the season with us — Adelaide Hills Tigers RLC , South Adelaide Rugby League Club, MEC "Kungari" Black Swans RLC , Eels Rugby League Club and Western Warriors RLC . ❤️💙🤍

Rugby league is so much more than what happens on the field, and we are grateful for the friendships, competition, laughs, challenges and memories we’ve shared throughout the season.

Thank you for welcoming us, challenging us and helping make this season what it was.

We may wear different colours and stand on opposite sides of the field, but at the end of the day, we’re all part of the same rugby league family.

We appreciate you all and look forward to seeing you around the fields again next season. 🏉❤️💙🤍

But when we look back on this season, what stands out isn't just the games, the wins, the losses or the results.

It's the people.

It's the little Roosters running onto the field with the biggest smiles some for the first time.

It's teammates becoming best friends.

It's parents cheering for kids that aren't even their own.

It's coaches giving up their time because they believe in their players.

It's volunteers quietly making things happen in the background.

It's the hugs after a tough game.

It's the celebrations after a great one.

It's the people who walk on to the field as strangers and, somewhere along the way, become part of the family they didnt know they needed.

Because that's what the Roosters are.

We are more than a rugby league club.

We are a group of people who continue to show up for each other.

We celebrate together.
We struggle together.
We laugh together.
We pick each other up.
And we create memories that our kids will carry with them long after their boots are hung up.

To every player, coach, parent, volunteer, committee member, sponsor, supporter and everyone who has played even the smallest part in our 2026 season…

Thank you for being part of our Roosters family. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of what we have built together, and even more proud of the people who make this club what it is.

Here's to the memories we've made, the friendships we've created and everything still to come.

What a season. What a family. What a club.

🔴⚪️🔵JUNIORS PRESENTATION🔵⚪️🔴

Our Juniors Presentation is happening at our home grounds this year, but we’re doing things a little differently — and we think it’s going to make for an awesome day!

We’ve split the day into two sessions so our players can enjoy plenty of time with their teammates, have some fun and celebrate their season without feeling rushed.

And don’t worry if you have children in both sessions! ❤️🤍💙 You’re more than welcome to stay with us for the whole day, enjoy the BBQ, watch the kids have some fun and celebrate all of our Roosters Juniors together.

Scotty Dawson 🔴⚪️🔵 Forever a Rooster!

Photos from Central Districts Rugby League Club's post 16/08/2026

❤️🤍💙A Roosters Milestone ❤️🤍💙

For those of you who don’t know, today we celebrated an incredible milestone for one of our very own.

Scott Dawson ~ some might call him the myth, some might call him the legend, but to us, he’s simply Scotty, a proud and valued member of the Roosters family.

Scott has been a man of the Roosters since 1994, after first taking to the rugby league field back in 1991. For an incredible 32 years, he’s been there through the highs, the lows, the wins, the losses, the changes and everything in between at Roosters but 35 years of love for an incredible sport.

But Scott’s contribution to our club has been so much more than simply being a player. He has proudly worn the Roosters jersey, stood as captain, led from the front and represented everything that it means to be part of this club.

He’s witnessed so much of our history and, more importantly, has helped shape it to what it is today.

Scott, we can’t put into words what your dedication means to the Roosters. The blood, sweat, tears, time and heart you’ve poured into this club over the years is something we will always be grateful for.

You’ve led teammates, created memories, shared the tough days and celebrated the good ones. Through it all, you’ve continued to show what loyalty, pride and love for a club really looks like.
You are more than just a player. You are a captain, a leader, a clubman and a huge part of the Roosters story.

32 years of Roosters. What an achievement. What a legacy. What a legend. With lots of memories (look what we found in photos 😅)

From everyone in the Roosters family, thank you, Scott. We are incredibly proud to call you one of our own, and we hope you know just how special your place in this club will always and forever be.

Here’s to you, Scotty. A Rooster through and through.
