Hockey SA is currently seeking umpires to assist at the Junior Country Championships (JCC) this weekend.
Details:
💰Payment: $20 per game
⏱Game Length: 40 minutes (2 x 20-minute halves)
📍Venues: State Hockey Centre & Port Adelaide District Hockey Club

Whether you are available for a few games or the entire weekend, HSA would greatly appreciate your support.

Our Premier League and Metro 1 teams will be battling some wet and windy weather along with their opponents this week out at the State Hockey Centre 🏑🌧

🚨 No Junior Training This Week! 🚨
We’re taking a break over the long weekend—no games, no training… just a well earned breather! 🙌
But instead, we’re bringing everyone together for a FHC Junior Family Fun Night 💙
📅 Tuesday 2nd June
⏰ 5:30pm – 8:00pm (drop in when you can, leave when you need – we know it’s a school night!)
🔥 What’s on:
🌭 BBQ sausage sizzle & slushies from 6pm
🍟 Canteen open (hot chips & drinks)
🎲 Bring along board games or activities to share
🥗 Optional: bring a plate to share
This is a great chance for our junior hockey family to catch up, relax, and have some fun together—on and off the field 😊
We’d love to see as many families there as possible!

🌧️🏑 Under 12s Show Huge Growth! 🏑🌧️
Last weekend, our two FHC Under 12 boys teams went head-to-head — and what a fantastic game it was!
We’re so proud of the incredible growth in this age group, which has allowed us to enter a second team this season. Despite the wet and windy conditions, both teams showed how far they’ve come, with impressive teamwork, determination, and goals scored on both sides 🙌
A big shoutout to our amazing team managers and helpers, who organised a post-game treat of hot pies and chips to warm everyone up — a perfect way to finish the morning! 🍟
We can’t wait to see these teams continue to build their skills and teamwork throughout the season 💙
