To celebrate the arrival of our new equipment, we are giving regular clients 25% off a Measurz Muscle Meter testing 1:1 session.
The Measurz Muscle Meter is used to measure push, pull, and grip strength across almost every muscle in the body and can be used for clients in physical therapy, rehabilitation or strength training.
So what are the benefits of doing this testing?
✅ It removes guesswork and provides objective evidence that your rehabilitation or training is working.
✅ It identifies specific strength imbalances, asymmetries or weaknesses that need addressing.
✅ It includes a Pain Pressure Threshold mode which identifies when pain begins to limit movement. This allows clients and practitioners to adjust loads scientifically, not just by 'feeling'.
✅ It boosts confidence in your body's capacity with the data validating that you are safe to progress to the next stage of rehab or training.
These special 1:1 sessions will be entirely focused on using and exploring the Measurz gear, with EP practitioners then offering strategies and advice based on the results of your testing.
The testing is available at both our Melbourne Street and Grange Road studios.
Book in via our website (just pop in the booking notes you want to try the new equipment) or contact our friendly admin team (7123 2488 or [email protected]).
Offer valid until 30th June 2026.

We wanted to share some incredible strength testing stats from our 1RM sessions last month.
53 clients participated in sessions across the month, with 27 people testing their deadlifts, 8 people testing their overheads, and 18 people testing their squats.
Our heaviest lifters were:
✅ Deadlifts - 112.5kg
✅ Overhead press - 26kg
✅ Squat - 97.5kg
Only four clients who tested (around 15%) are currently lifting their optimal weight in classes.
This is exactly why strength testing is so important! It helps ensure you’re lifting the right loads in class specific to you and your individual goals, such as bone density or menopause management.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in these sessions - we're so proud of you and your achievements!
If you weren't able to participate this time round, stay tuned for some more strength testing sessions later this year.

Last month, Erin attended the Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Activate Conference in Adelaide.
This annual conference brings together the brightest minds in exercise and sports science from across Australia and the world, connecting leading professionals, researchers, educators, and industry partners to share ideas, spark innovation, and shape the future of health and performance.
For Erin, the three day event was filled with learning, inspiring keynote presenters, and spending time meeting, reconnecting, and sharing meangingful conversations with some amazing women.
We are lucky to have such a strong community of female-led EP businesses here in South Australia, with practitioners who deliver leading innovative approaches and client-centred care that continue to raise the bar of exercise physiology - Move to Live - Exercise Physiology, Align Health Solutions, Optimum Exercise Physiology and Fleurieu Exercise Physiology just to name a few.
If you're a female-led EP business in SA, we’d love to support and celebrate you! Give yourself a shout out in the comments below.

You may have spotted some familiar faces in your classes over the past few weeks....
All our EPs were sent "undercover" and tasked with participating in a class!
Not only did this allow them to experience classes from a client perspective, but it also encouraged them to draw inspiration from different practitioner styles.
Professional development is a core focus at the Studio, helping our EPs continue to grow as practitioners and ultimately provide outstanding care to every client.
