We've got an amazing new signing to announce for our WSL setup, we're excited to welcome Ines De Game Ferreira to Western Strikers 👏
With experience across Portugal, the United States, and Australia, Ines brings a strong football background, versatility, and a winning mentality to the pitch.
Her journey began at SC Braga, one of Portugal’s top football academies, before stepping into senior football with Lank FC Vilaverdense, where she helped the team earn promotion to Liga BPI, Portugal’s top tier of women’s football. During her time in Portugal, she collected several individual and team honours across different clubs.
She then moved to the United States on a full athletic and academic scholarship, spending two years competing at the NCAA Division II level before making the step up to Division I, where she completed her college soccer career on a high note.
Last season, she made the move to Australia and quickly made an impact, earning a spot on the NPL Players to Watch list while scoring 8 goals in the process.
Now, she’s excited to build on that momentum and help the WSSC achieve its goal of promotion to the NPL.
A natural midfielder with the versatility to make an impact in multiple positions, she brings quality, adaptability, and a proven eye for goal.
Welcome Ines, we're ecstatic to have you!
