Congratulations Lampe and your team! 🦏
Unhinged
Unhinged is an Adelaide based human powered vehicle racing team. Ahead of competing, our top priority has always been to have fun.
Unhinged has its roots from the early 2000s where our first team members raced in the two-time AIPP High School category Championship winning team SAGERO. When these members they graduated high school they split and raced in a variety of other teams before re-joining when they started Unhinged under the Dirty Mongrel Racing banner in 2014. In 2016 Unhinged became an independent team with two bikes

Unhinged goes Un-cognito

Aidan Lampe rides for 300 hours, no flats. Rides for 1 hour, gets a flat! Feeling deflated
In case you missed it... HE DID IT! Aidan won the 2023 Race to the Rock!
CONGRATULATIONS
Will he be taking a rest now? It doesn't look like it....

As the bulk of the Unhinged team is preparing to begin what we thought was an endurance race at Murray Bridge this weekend. TMWR is closing in on the finish of an epic race of his own.
Aidan having ridden 3700km is around 100km from the finish of the Race to the Rock. He's around 100km ahead of second and third place. Amazingly, fourth is over 1000km behind.
What a machine.

Aidan (TMWR) continues to amaze having ridden 3000km in 10 days and leading the Race to the Rock!
TMWR made it into the Northern Territory yesterday, stopping at Tobermorey Station shortly after crossing the border. Right now he’s at the next Plenty Hwy outpost, Jervois Station. There he’ll be able to get good quality water, but food options are limited to bags of chips, choc bars, ice creams and soft drink. He’ll be able to get some decent food in Atitjere, another 130km down the road, but only if it’s open when he passes by. Otherwise it’s another 215km to Alice Springs. Timing your resupply is critical if you want to keep moving - you can’t go anywhere without fuel! Chasing riders David Langley and T LeSueur are around 60km behind now. The next rider on course is Sean D, another 800km behind, he’s 100km into the long haul from Winton to Boulia (480km without resupply options).
