A massive thanks from all the crew at Setting A New Course goes out to Veterans SA and the SA Government for awarding SANC with funding through their Capacity Building Grant Fund. This funding will allow training of our volunteers to increase our capacity and secure the continued resilience of the program into the future.

A special mention also goes out to Henley & Grange RSL for being our auspice for the grant, providing oversight and financial governance to ensure it is applied successfully.

Experiencing the Elliott 7 sailboats at the CYCSA normally costs $78, but for our participants it's always free. Partners of eligible participants are welcome, so come along and find out what your new favourite sport has to offer! (A basic level of physical fitness is required, limited to ages 18 and up)

Two of our volunteers took an important step towards achieving their sailing goals by successfully completing the Powerboat Handling Course at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia, paid for by SANC. This course (worth $450) not only gets you your South Australian Boating License (without a written test!) but also teaches you practical skills for operating one of the clubs powered safety boats in and out of the marina. Tony and Keith can now drive the safety boat in support of our regular sailing events, improving the capability of the SANC program. Good work team!
