THE OG FLAVA 💙 🇬🇷

30 YEARS OF THE FLAVA CREW ✨
In 1996, the original FLAVA crew was formed. 30 years later, we’re celebrating where it all began and we’ll be sharing some pretty memorable stuff over the next week as we celebrate this milestone 🥹

But for now, we wanted to share some special photos from our Mid Year Show and of THE OG FLAVA.

A piece that brought together our passion for street dance, our first original routine and our Greek roots… because for us, it all began with Greek dancing 🇬🇷❤️

We didn’t just bring the original FLAVA crew back together to celebrate 30 years. We brought our beautiful parents, kids, family and our dance family onto the stage with us too.

Parents who were born overseas, migrated to Australia, lived on the same street growing up, built their lives here… and somehow, years later, their kids meet and created something of their own. US 🤍
There’s something pretty special about that.

Culture is everything. Family is everything… And dance has always been the thing that brings it all together.
So we had some fun, mixed our Greek dancing with our street dancing and brought a little piece of our history to life on stage.

From Greek dancing… to street dancing… to FLAVA.

This is where it all began…and we’re still dancing ✨

And there’s plenty more to come… stay tuned as we share more from the original FLAVA story over the next few weeks 👀✨

More than dance.. we’re family

✨FLAVA has been named a FINALIST in the 2026 Local Business Awards - Greater Adelaide, Performing Arts ✨

What a beautiful surprise and such an incredible honour to have to be included as a finalist.

For us, FLAVA has never just been about dance. It’s about the people who walk through our doors.
The friendships that turn into family.
The confidence that grows.
The memories we create.
The laughs, the sweat, the hard work, the celebrations and all the little moments in between.

It’s about creating a place where you can be completely yourself, find your people and dance your heart out ✨✨

And while this nomination may have FLAVA’s name attached to it, the nomination belongs to YOU 💙💙 Our incredible creative teachers and mentors, our amazing families, students, crews, our FLAVA fam and every single person who has supported us, believed in us, danced with us, cheered us on or played a part in our journey.
You are what makes FLAVA what it is.

THANK YOU 💙 For showing up, trusting us, believing in what we do, supporting each other, celebrating the wins, riding out the crazy moments and giving us the privilege of doing what we LOVE every single week.

23 years in the Studio industry and FLAVA continues to grow, evolve and create something that means so much more than just dance.

We are incredibly proud of what we have built, but even more proud of the people who have helped build it with us
💙

So this one is for YOU, OUR FLAVA FAMILY!

We appreciate you more than you know

💙FLAVA
