Behind every successful club are people who quietly work tirelessly in the background and Kelly is the perfect example of that. While balancing her own business and professional career, she has continued to volunteer her time to support our staff, volunteers, players and families, always putting the club and its community first.

On behalf of the community at Norwood Basketball, thank you Kelly for your dedication, passion and service. Your contribution has been truly extraordinary and we are incredibly grateful for everything you have done for our Flames family.

Thank you Kelly. Once a Flame, Always a Flame

Congratulations to all our final Yo-Chievers! They have displayed some amazing things on the basketball court and are being rewarded with a voucher from Yo-Chi! We have been super proud of how much we have all embraced being Yo-Chievers and strived for excellence on and off the court this season!

Best Teammate – Awarded to the player who consistently supports, encourages, and uplifts their teammates, embodying the true spirit of the Flames.

Hustle Award – Recognizing relentless effort, energy, and determination β€” this player gives 100% every time they hit the court; Hustling after rebounds, loose balls, chasing back on defence and all the 1%ers!

Congratulations to Sam on being selected into the Venezuelan National U17 squad πŸ‡»πŸ‡ͺπŸ”₯

A proud moment for Norwood Flames Basketball, as one of our own continues to rise on the international stage. This selection is a testament to Sam’s relentless work ethic, commitment, and dedication to his craft over many years.

Sam is currently competing in a final selection camp of 33 athletes in La Rinconada, Caracas, Venezuela. Only 12 players will be chosen to represent Venezuela at the U17 World Cup, taking place from June 27 to July 5 in Istanbul, Turkey.

To see a Norwood Flames junior in contention for the world stage is something we take immense pride in.

Wishing Sam the very best in the final stages β€” the entire Flames family is behind you. πŸ”΄πŸ”₯

πŸ’™β€οΈ NBL1 2026 ROUND 10 β€οΈπŸ’™

NBL1 Central Round 10 is heritage round where we get to celebrate our clubs past. This year marks 80 years of the Norwood Flames and we are super excited to celebrate.

The game against the Southern Tigers is the second game of our back-to-back. Coming off what is sure to be a hard-fought battle against North Adelaide the Flames will have to leave it all on the court in this matchup.

The Paradise Hotel Norwood Flames Women will be in for a good game against the Tigers. Both teams have been hovering around mid-ladder all season so an integral win is up for grab for both sides. For the Flames Cali Clark has been continuing her dominance inside, putting up a double-double on the year. Maddy Hinton and Amy Cotton are averaging over 10ppg for the Flames.

For Southern, Mollie McKendrick has continued her great play on the year flirting with 20ppg and with a solid 10+ rebounds a night to go with it. Great supporting play from the rest of the Tigers have made them a tough outing for any side.

For the South Ave Norwood Flames Men, both imports have started to come into form with Thomas Kurowksi leading the way at over 19ppg. Some strong contribution from Aussies and Kiwi's alike including 18ppg, 4ast and 5reb from Campbell Scott have brought the Flames into finals contention.

The Tigers have been struggling to put wins on the board despite some strong individual performances from Devine Fortune and Che Brogan. The Flames are looking for a good hit out.

Be sure to head down to the ARC to cheer on your teams and celebrate our 80 years of proud history!

β€πŸ’™ NBL1 2026 Round 10 πŸ’™β€

Round 10 of the NBL1 Central season sees the Norwood Flames facing the rival North Adelaide Rockets.

The Paradise Hotel Norwood Flames Women are in for another big game as they lost in their first outing against North Adelaide. After a slow start to the year North has really hit stride and the Flames are looking to bring them back down and get a big win at Lightsview.

The South Ave Norwood Flames Men beat North Adelaide in an offensive onslaught the first time these two met. They are looking to repeat this performance and take care of business against the Rockets.

Be sure to head out to Lightsview to cheer on your Flames as they face a rival team in their home territory.
