🏁 THE 2026 NATIONALS ARE ON… NEW VENUE, SAME DATES! 🏁

Motorcycling South Australia (MSA) is pleased to confirm that the 2026 AKJ Services Australian ATV and Sidecar Motocross Championship will go ahead on 31 October–1 November 2026, with MSA taking on the role of event promoter.

📍 NEW VENUE: Motocross Riders Association, Gillman, South Australia

A heartfelt thank you to the Motocross Riders Association committee and volunteers for offering their venue and stepping forward to help host the 2026 Nationals. Your support and willingness to bring this event together are greatly appreciated.

We also sincerely thank all competitors and their families for their patience and understanding while alternative arrangements have been worked through. We recognise the planning, time and expense involved in attending a national championship, and appreciate your continued support.

Nominations will remain open until the 23rd October, 2026.

We look forward to welcoming the ATV and sidecar motocross community to Gillman! 🏆

Our Team SA riders have officially arrived in Shepparton, Victoria, ready to represent South Australia at the 2026 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX)! 🇦🇺

After all the preparation, training and kilometres travelled, it’s time to get down to business and enjoy an incredible week of racing against Australia’s best junior motocross riders.

To all our Team SA riders, we wish you the very best of luck! Ride hard, enjoy every moment, support your teammates and most importantly, be proud to wear the South Australian colours.

A huge thank you to the families, supporters, clubs, coaches and everyone behind the scenes who has helped our riders make it to Shepparton.

Well, that’s a wrap... the racing is finished! 🏁

Motorcycling SA just want to take a moment to say how incredibly proud we are of every single one of you.

To our riders, you have given it everything out there and represented South Australia with such pride, determination and sportsmanship. You should be so proud of yourselves.

To our parents, crew, families and supporters, thank you. The countless hours, kilometres travelled, fundraising, preparation, early mornings, late nights and everything behind the scenes has made this experience possible.

But what makes us most proud is the way you have all come together as one team. You have supported each other, celebrated each other’s successes and stood beside each other through the challenges. You have shown everyone what Team SA is really about. ❤️

MEET THE SPEEDWAY DISCIPLINE WORKING GROUP

We’re pleased to introduce the members of the newly established Motorcycling SA Speedway Discipline Working Group! 🙌

The Working Group brings together members with a range of experience, knowledge and perspectives from within Speedway, who have put their hands up to contribute to the future of the sport in South Australia.

Together, the Working Group will work with Motorcycling SA to provide discipline-specific advice, ideas and recommendations to help support the ongoing development, growth and sustainability of Speedway.

Their focus will include areas such as participation, rider and official pathways, club support, safety, development opportunities and the longer-term direction of the discipline.

We’d like to thank each of our Working Group members for volunteering their time, experience and passion to contribute to the future of Speedway.

We’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together! 🤝

💰Eligible organisations can now apply for their share in $5.9 million through the 2026-27 Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program (CRSFP).

Grants are on offer to support the development of sustainable, inclusive and fit-for-purpose recreation and sport facilities that meet the current and future needs of South Australian communities.

🏡 From upgrading local clubrooms to creating more accessible and welcoming spaces, this funding helps communities build places where people can be active, connect and thrive.

🆕 New for 2026-27, a streamlined two-stage application process starts with a Registration of Interest (ROI), reducing the administrative burden for applicants before progressing to a Full Application.
