SAUCNA

Burnside City UC Netball Club is one of the most recently formed clubs to be affiliated with the South Australian United Church Netball Association (SAUCNA). The Club played its first matches in the Summer season 2013/14. In the following Winter season 2014, we fielded three teams in the Under 15's. Presently, we have five teams across three grades in this year's summer season. The Club acknowledges the great support provided by the Burnside City Uniting Church.

Congratulations, Bron 🥹💚

Last night Bronwen Johnson received our 2026 Service to the Club Award, and there really couldn’t be a more fitting person for it!

Bron is one of those people who quietly makes a club better just by being in it. She coaches, plays, fills in for umpiring, checks the little details the rest of us miss, and is always the person you can count on to have your back.

So much of what she does happens without fuss or expectation of recognition, which probably makes this one even more deserved. Burnside is in very capable hands with Bron around, and we’re very lucky to have her.

Everyone needs a Bronwen. We’re glad ours is this good.

Comments are open for Bron appreciation 💚⬇️⭐️

Friday 28th August is getting closer and closer… which is slightly inconvenient if you haven’t registered for summer yet ☀️

We’d be pretty sad to miss you out there, so consider this your sign to get onto it.

We’ve even put the link in our instagram bio for you. Click, register, done. See how easy we make this? 🤷‍♀️

Summer nights, netball with your mates, sunsets like this. Not to influence your decision or anything…

Sooo… who wants to go to a Grand Final? 💚

13A, 13C, 17B and B4 are all one win away, and Saturday is shaping up to be a big one.

We want plenty of green & gold on those sidelines, so if you’re free, pop down to SAUCNA and get around the girls. The louder the better 💚

Four teams with a spot in the Grand Final on the line. Let’s help them get there ⭐️

See you Saturday!

Three Stars. One Club.

WE’RE NOT DONE YETTTTT 💚⭐️

13B are straight through to the GRAND FINAL after a huge win on Saturday and we are SO up for this.

17A went down by just 3 in an overtime thriller and gave absolutely everything. So proud of them.

Now it’s over to 13A, 13C, 17B and B4 next Saturday for a shot at the big dance 👀

We need the green & gold out again. Loud sidelines, big energy, and everyone getting around the girls to help get them there.

Do not make plans yet. Times, courts and all the good stuff coming shortly!!

Three Stars. One Club.
