THANK YOU CIBBA 💙🩵

After Saturday’s match, senior player Will Cibich officially hung up the boots.

A talented forward, Cibba’s contribution on the field has been only one part of the impact he’s made at Glenunga.

A former Auskick Coordinator and now a junior coach, he continues to give back and epitomises what it means to be part of our club.

Thank you mate for all your highlights and bags of goals. Thank you for being an even better person!!

It was special having the family of late Life Member John Borrett tossing the pre-game coin yesterday. It followed his funeral on Friday 💙🩵

Inducted as a Life Member in 1967, John made a lasting contribution to Glenunga. He played through the 1950s and 60s and served as secretary, treasurer, team manager and bar supervisor. He was also a Life Member of Glenunga Cricket Club and treasurer of the Glenunga Sports and Social Club.

Alongside close mates, John remained a familiar face at senior home games for decades, including most of our matches this year.

The second photo is from our Team of the Century celebrations. The third is from his playing days in 1966.

A wonderful legacy. We’re all thinking of you ‘Bones.’

Things you love to see 🥹 A special moment, with the men’s water boys gifting senior coach Nathan Grima a hamper pack after today’s win.

Nathan’s a fighter but what he has been through with his recent illness has been nothing short of a nightmare.

It was fantastic to have Nathan back at the club today with the Rams A and B Grade winning their finals matches.
