With the final round of the season done with a very unfortunate and disappointing end due to the second engine this year letting go because of a freak set of events, we just wanted to say thankyou to everyone who has helped our racing journey this year especially Adrian, Ben and Jake at Grunter Racing Team we could not have done it without your support. Huge thanks to Ben Crawford Garage ZEST for all the advice and help with fluids and parts. there has been many positives and also negatives but that is all part of motorsport! we will work hard over the off season to get the car to an A+ level and see what we can achieve next year

Round 1 of the SAMRC championship was a series of ups and downs but ended up being our best weekend to date, after electrical troubles on practice day and then a fuel pump letting go 5 minutes before qualifying, we managed to get the car out on track starting from the rear of the grid in race 1 and made it through half of the field. Race Results R1-12th R2-9th R3-11th. This round included our first top 10 finish and it feels really great to see the hard work paying off!
looking forward to more great racing at round 2 next month.

Ending up in 18th!! Super happy with this season, learning a lot each round improving on driver skill and working hard to make the car faster all the time while still being relatively new to Excel racing. I am enjoying getting to know and learning from others in the field.

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 - 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 🏆

This is how the 2024 Circuit Excel SA season finished (provisionally) on the points tally based on the best four performing rounds for our competitors. It was back to back championship wins for Joel Johnson Racing with ultra consistency from Aaron Oliver Racing and Shayne Nowickyj landing them on the podium.

FLEW Racing had a standout debut season with personal best permformaces from Isaac TSM Motorsport and Robilla Racing. Further down, special shoutouts to Jett Zerk Racing and Jake Gallyer from Grunter Racing Team who made progress up the field as the year went on.

Great little change of scenery for round 4 of the state championship at mallala motorsport park. all in all really happy with how the car went and showed some better pace towards the end of the day. really great racing and had some fun battles mid pack. really happy with where i’m sitting on championship points this season, bring on the finale!!

Incredible to think how far we have come in the past 12 months, from graduating the Tarmac JDP Association of SA program in the little navy excel to leasing the JDP circuit car for round 1 of 2023, to then breaking my leg and missing out on round 2 of the championship, all the way to purchasing our own car and running it with the help of Apogee Motorsport Services for the remainder of the 2023 season!! I cannot thank everybody involved in my journey the past 12 months enough. Bring on the 2024 season!!
