TOMORROW: Our Canteen needs volunteers
We're currently light on for canteen shifts tomorrow, with some time slots throughout the day unaccounted for.

Book a shift here: https://clubvolunteer.com.au/volunteer/SDBC?utm_source=share&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=volunteer_portal

If we can't fill the shifts, the canteen might not be open at times.
5 teams are at home tomorrow so we could be in for a busy day.

Thank you to all the volunteers so far, your help is greatly appreciated!

🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳 Help us keep our canteen running to the best of it's ability!
Book your canteen volunteering now via this link: https://clubvolunteer.com.au/volunteer/SDBC

With first games starting this weekend, we need to fill our canteen roster - shifts aren't for long and are a great way to fill your volunteering hours.

We're trialling a new online roster system to make it simple for you to pick a date and time slot to help out. Follow the link mentioned above and book in a shift now!

21/10/2026

An important Saturday afternoon at SDBC this weekend as our men’s D1 take on Glenelg in a double header from 2pm.

GAME 1 (2pm)
A memorial for Kevan “Big Kev” Nathan who sadly passed earlier this year. A heart and soul member of our club, Kev made SDBC his home, forever a Hawk.

GAME 2 (4:30pm)
The Blake Horrocks Cup
Now in its 14th instalment, but as important as ever, a game both SDBC and GBC both look forward to, remembering Blake Horrocks!

Bring your friends and family for an afternoon of baseball and join us all in remembering Kevan and Blake. Share a story or two with the person next to you as the 2 clubs come together in celebration.

See you there!

MEN’S D1 make it 2 from 2 💪

Dayton Mitchell had a day, 4-for-4 with 2 HR 🔥 The bats firing again with 6 HR Total (J.Campbell 2, D.Mitchell 2, B.Daley, R.Moore). A hit, a walk and a couple CF catches for Will Matthews on debut👏 Plus, Addi Jones and Lincoln Bunney also got their first taste of D1 baseball coming into the game in the 7th inning.

➡️ Next up, our home opener, a double-header vs Glenelg.

WOMEN’S D1 start the season 1-1.

The back-to-back champs, Woodville, were simply too strong on Sunday. We look to bounce back next weekend against Golden Grove.

Welcome to SDBC, Zoe Hicks!

A softball & baseball player from Canada, Zoe is an import on our Women’s Division 1 roster this season. Zoe’s experience will be a great addition to the squad and no doubt help the development of our younger players coming into the division 1 team.

Zoe made her SDBC debut last weekend with 2 hits in a 10-9 walk-off win 👏

When you see Zoe around the club, introduce yourselves and make her feel right at home at the Hawks!
