Young Sharks, Big Heart — We Stay Up 2026
Last season was about getting back. Promotion back to Division 2 for the Salisbury Sharks.
This season was about proving we belong — and look at this group.
A young squad. New players into the Sharks mixed with the lads who got us up. You can see it in this photo — that’s a Div 2 squad that turned up. A Grade training attendance was high all year, and that’s why we’re staying up. That commitment on Tuesday and Thursday nights is what keeps you in Division 2.
With one league game left for both A and B Grade, the big job is done. A Grade have consolidated and secured Division 2 for next season. No straight bounce back down. The target after promotion was survival — this young group did it.
And we’re not done yet. One league game left each to finish strong, and the B Grade — B Grade have put together a great cup run and are heading into the semi finals.

There's nothing better than seeing our own come back to give back.
Huge thank you to for joining our session this week. From ASCD academy in 2013-14 to the A-League and now playing pro overseas, Valentino shared real, practical advice on skills, habits, and how to grow as a player.
Our squad took a lot from it. Proud to have you back on home turf, Valentino.

What a night! ⚽️🌧️ The World Cup spirit was UNREAL — juniors were out in force, playing their hearts out in the pouring rain! The energy was electric… until the grounds turned into lakes and we had to call it early 😩 Gutted to finish early, but so proud of everyone who braved the weather!
