What a day to celebrate Saints Athletics! 🎉

What happens when you mix incredible performances, big milestones and a whole lot of club spirit? A stand out Saints Awards and Quiz Afternoon.

From our youngest to our seasoned seniors, the results this season have been nothing short of inspiring! With standouts from Aidan Murphy and Darcy Miller who have both recorded multiple state records this season.

Throwback Moment! 🥇

Back in April at the Australian Track & Field Championships, Darcy Miller soared to his first national gold medal in the discus - a huge achievement after a few bronze medals along the way 🙌🏻

Now he’s gearing up to compete at the Oceania Championships on the 20th in Darwin. Let’s get behind him and wish him all the best!!

A huge congrats to President Brooke and our all round club legend Felicity on their outstanding performances at the State 10km Championships, held as part of the Adelaide Marathon Festival this year.

Both athletes finished 2nd place in their respective categories!!

Big run from Jonathan Harris with a PB in the 1500m heats and securing a spot in the final this evening!!

Throwback to a few weeks ago, when Saints Athletics Club committee member Sally Taylor and Saints athlete Les claimed gold in the Little Athletics U17 800m.

All the way from Mount Gambier, Sally and Les travel over 5 hours to compete and support the club - always without complaint or hesitation. Sally is a long-time volunteer and coach within athletics, and her passion for the sport never goes unnoticed. Having recently joining the committee this year, she brings a wealth of experience and truly embodies the dedication and love behind athletics.

If you see Sally and Les around the track in the future make sure to say Hi 👋🏼

What a great finish to the State Championships with Les winning Gold in the U17 800m great work by all involved with the team from the Mount

Join the action! Take on a community relay on Friday March the 13th at the Adelaide Invitational - 4x100m, medley relay (800m, 400m, 200m, 200m) or the 5x1km - and get a taste of what it’s like to be Jono Harris ahead of his Saturday race!
