POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN

Unfortunately, this weekends Speed Clinic at Lismore Speedway has unfortunately been cancelled due to rain.

The Lismore venue has received a significant amount of rain this week.
We have been in constant communication with the team at Lismore who have made every effort to continue with this weekends program.
Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and the decision has been made to cancel the weekend.

If you are a registered attendee to the program, your guardian will have received an email from us.

We will continue to work with Lismore to secure a a future date for the Speed Clinic as soon as possible.

Keep an eye on the Speed Clinic and Speedway Australia pages for updates.

RACING THE TITLE?

Speedway Australia wish all competitors heading to the 2025 Speedway Sedans Australia Junior Sedan National Title at Kingaroy Speedway safe travels and all the very best!

The Australian Title is a very exciting time for our sports youth and one of the most viewed events each season.
We are sure you are all prepared, but following such a busy holiday period, we just want to remind you all a few things;

• Have fun and enjoy the event! (This is a priority)
• Ensure your licence (and your crew licences) is current and won’t expire during the event (it will be checked daily).
• Ensure you have your CURRENT logbook and registration decal.
• Triple Check your racegear, check for any wear and/or holes, check your tags and ensure they are clear to read, clean and visually inspect your helmet. ALL racegear will be checked at scrutineering including any spares you have. Random gear checks will also take place.
• Visually inspect your seatbelts and window net and ensure they are in date.
• Check your seating position and seatbelt angles (you may have grown over the holidays), this WILL be checked at scrutineering.
• Practice for an interview and remember who you need to thank for helping make this happen. (Putting a list on your dash can be a great tool to help)
• Bring spare earbuds and batteries for your One-way communicator.
• Stay Hydrated and remember to fuel yourself with nutritious foods.
• Make sure you are polite and smile to the officials and volunteers, as there is a lot of people who work hard to ensure you can race this weekend!
• If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing! This includes any social media (including snapchat and private messages)
• Always use jack stands!
• Drivers are responsible for their crew (Parents, think before you speak/act. Please don’t be the reason your junior doesn’t get to race).
• Ensure your car meets technical specifications! If you aren’t 100% sure or need to clarify interpretation of a rule, you need to contact SSA ASAP!

Junior sedan racing is only the beginning of your journey in Speedway.
This title will be something you will always remember… enjoy it, share it with friends and family and have fun!

We look forward to seeing you all at Kingaroy this weekend!

🙌🙌

It was really cool to collaborate a bit with the kids of the Junior F500's at last night's fourth round of the Brandt Australia Sprintcar Speedweek and show them some of our world.
The kids came to the Sprintcar Speedweek drivers meeting, then we all had a photo together and they came out to help us give the signal for the A-Main Four Wide salute!
Thanks kids and good luck with the rest of your Speedweek!

Speed Clinic Tas ✅

Thank you to everyone who attended the Speedway Australia Speed Clinic at Latrobe Speedway - Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway.

Tassie Juniors might be about to put the mainlanders on notice 👀
We worked with an amazing group of kids who have a tremendous amount of support around them!

We can't wait to come back. Lets aim for a dedicated 2 day weekend! 😉
