2026 NEHTTA Competition starts on 29/04/2026, but only for Div 1 and 6. Divisions2 to 5 start on 6/05/2026.

Grand final night was held last night. Congratulations to all the winning sides.

Congratulations to the teams that made it through to the finals being held on Wednesday 1st April.

Congratulations to those who are continuing through to the next round of the finals and those going straight through. Good luck to each of you.

VALE KEVIN HOOPER

I regret to inform you of the passing of Kevin Hooper, who passed away Friday evening, surrounded by his family.

Kevin devoted a significant part of his life to Table Tennis and made an extraordinary contribution to the sport and its community.

He began his dedication to the sport with the Para Districts Association, where he served as Results Steward for more than 20 years. Following the transition from Para Districts Association to the Parafield Gardens Table Tennis Club, Kevin continued his dedicated service and was awarded Life Membership in recognition of his many years of committee work, coaching support, and tireless assistance with setting up and packing down. He was widely regarded as a true club person, always willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed.

When Parafield Gardens joined NEHTTA, Kevin once again took on the role of Results Steward, serving for a further 25 years. He became NEHTTA’s longest-serving committee member and was honoured with Life Membership in acknowledgment of his outstanding dedication and commitment.

In later years, Kevin was also involved with the Athelstone Football Club Table Tennis Club and the Tea Tree Gully Table Tennis Club, where he continued to demonstrate his generous spirit through committee service and practical support at club activities.
Kevin’s contribution to table tennis was immeasurable. He made a lasting difference to the clubs he served and to the many people whose lives he touched through his commitment, generosity, and unwavering support.
