The Christies Beach Football Club is incredibly proud to congratulate our Patron, Paul Daly, on being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2026 King's Birthday Honours List.

This prestigious recognition acknowledges Paul's outstanding service to Australian Rules Football and the Onkaparinga community over many decades.

Paul's contribution to our club has been extraordinary. From playing 208 senior games, to serving as President, Secretary, Treasurer, Board Member and now Patron, his commitment has helped shape Christies Beach Football Club into the club we are today.

Paul has also been instrumental in driving the growth of female football and inclusive football programs, creating opportunities for more people in our community to be involved in the game.

A Life Member of both Christies Beach Football Club and the Southern Football League, Paul's dedication, leadership and passion for community football have left a lasting impact across the region.

On behalf of everyone at CBFC, congratulations Paul on this incredibly well-deserved honour. We thank you for your years of service and the legacy you continue to build for future generations.

Saturday 13th June, we invite all past and present players, coaches, volunteers, members, supporters and community members to join us as we celebrate 60 completed seasons of senior football at Christies Beach Football Club.

As part of the day, our A Grade side will proudly wear a one-off Heritage Guernsey featuring the names of every player to have represented Christies Beach at A Grade level — honouring the generations who have helped build our club.

Whether you played one game or 300, volunteered, supported from the sidelines, or are simply part of the Saints Family, we'd love to see you there.

A huge congratulations to Ryan Williams on reaching the incredible milestone of 200 games for the Christies Beach Football Club.

Reaching 200 games is a fantastic achievement and a testament to Ryan’s commitment, loyalty and dedication to the Saints over many years. Milestones like this don’t happen without countless hours of hard work, sacrifice and passion for the club.

It’s also important to recognise that Ryan’s contribution goes far beyond his playing career. He has been an unbelievable volunteer and a key figure behind much of the club’s banners, signage and artwork over the years, always willing to step in and help wherever needed.

It was fantastic to see Ryan celebrated and supported by his beautiful family, teammates, friends and the wider CBFC community as he ran out for this special occasion. Seeing so many people come together to acknowledge his contribution to our club made the day even more memorable. Congratulations Ryan on 200 games in the red, white and black. We thank you for everything you have given to the club and look forward to seeing what comes next.

The Christies Beach Football Club is incredibly proud to welcome home one of our own, Nikki “Turbo” Nield.

A true product of the Beach, Nikki’s football journey started right here at Christies Beach, where she captained our junior boys side before helping lead the Saints to the 2017 Adelaide Footy League Division 2 Women’s Premiership.

Since then, Nikki has gone on to become one of the most accomplished footballers to come out of the southern suburbs, building an elite résumé that includes:

🏆 SANFLW Best & Fairest Medallist (2024)
🏆 South Adelaide Best & Fairest

Following an injury-interrupted period, Nikki is looking forward to getting back out on the field and reconnecting with the club where her football journey began.

While the achievements speak for themselves, what makes this return so special is that Nikki has always remained a proud Beachie. Having someone of her calibre back around the club is enormous for our women’s program, our junior girls and the next generation of Saints coming through the ranks.

🔴⚪️⚫️ A Grade Debut Alert ⚫️⚪️🔴

A special moment for the club this weekend as we celebrate two A Grade debuts against Aldinga.

Congratulations to Isaac Binning and Saxon Allen, who will pull on the A Grade jumper for the first time.

Isaac, our B Grade Vice Captain, has worked tirelessly throughout the pre-season and the opening rounds of the season to earn his opportunity at the next level. His commitment, leadership, and consistency have been outstanding, and it's fantastic to see that effort rewarded.

Saxon is one of our young B Grade players who has continued to put in the work both at training and on game day. His dedication to improving his craft and willingness to learn has seen him earn his chance to step up and represent the A Grade side.

Debuts are always special, and we're proud to see both players rewarded for their hard work and perseverance.
