Established in 1989, the Powerblades Dragon Boat Racing club is one of the longest running Dragon Boat Clubs in Australia, .
The club has had considerable success in competitions locally, nationally and internationally. The club has consistently been South Australian State Champions in a range of categories since its first success in 1991. Powerblades have developed both Premier (ages 15-40) and Masters (aged 40+) sports teams. This ensures that there is a participation pathway for club members of all ages so that they

Exciting news from Powerblades own Julie and Mandy, who were selected in the Down Under Dogs premier women and mixed teams and will be heading to Hong Kong international regatta end of June.
Training camp 1 was held in Sydney last week, we think they’re fabulous wearing their official race tops 😎
The Down Under Dogs head overseas to an international regatta every year and the paddlers come from all over Australia.
This is Mandy’s third regatta and Julies first, well done ladies - we’re proud of you.
