Long term Crippled Crow member, Kevin Rowley, has asked the Crippled Crows to help get the message out, that this month he is walking 150km, in the One Foot Forward campaign, to support Australians impacted by mental illness and su***de.

Kevin hopes to raise $1000 to help the Black Dog Institute put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education and digital services into the hands of the people who need them the most.

We have it on good authority that Kevin is already well and truly on track to both blitz his distance and total monies raised goal. Maybe we can encourage Kevin to modify his goals and aim for a larger target.

If this is a cause that you support, The Crippled Crows encourage you to make a donation and support Kevin's 150km challenge this month to help change lives:

The Crippled Crows are saying thank you to our business supporters and we wish to say thank you to one of our Gold Sponsors, Partnered Health Medical Centres - Para Hills Clinic.

Regular Crippled Crows player, Dr Eben Viljoen (General Practitioner) clearly has rugby in his DNA, having immigrated from South Africa to Australia in 2010 and canโ€™t stop playing (as much as his schedule allows) the game they play in heaven.

The Crippled Crows wish to welcome the Partnered Health Medical Centres - Para Hills Clinic, to the over 35โ€™s rugby community and thank them for their generous support.

Crippled Crows sponsors and friends came together in spectacular style at Burnside Rugby Clubโ€™s 80th Anniversary Black-Tie Gala ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ‰โœจ

It was an unforgettable evening celebrating Burnsideโ€™s rich rugby history, proud success and strong community spirit, all on full display throughout the night ๐Ÿค๐ŸŽ‰ The occasion was made even more special by the presence of Wallaby legends Dan Herbert and Scott Higginbotham ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿฆ˜

Burnside is an iconic RUSA club, and weโ€™re thrilled theyโ€™re keen to support the Crows going forward and we offer an open invitation too their over 35 players to come and join in our next seasonโ€™s games.

Weโ€™re equally excited about the possibility of playing on their new grounds in 2027 ๐Ÿ‰๐ŸŸ๏ธ๐Ÿคž

Hereโ€™s hoping for many more great rugby moments together! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰

The Crippled Crows are saying thank you to our business supporters and we wish to say thank you Pyper Leaker surveying services.

Established in 2001 by David Pyper and Martin Leaker, it is David Pypers love for rugby that has lead Pyper Leaker to becoming one of the Crippled Crows regular sponsors.

David is a passionate rugby man, having played for many years with Old Collegians Rugby Club in Adelaide. David is now retired from daily work life but his love for the game has not waned and regularly plays for the Crippled Crows and continues to support the club, not only as a player but committee member and regular tourist. David will again be travelling with the Crippled Crows to Vancouver in 2027, to attend the 2027 World Golden Oldies Festival (May 23-30)

The Crippled Crows are saying thank you to our business supporters and we wish to say thank you to a very important supporter in the form of Dr Fraser Vivian (Doc) and the Tanunda Medical Centre.

Doc is the immediate past President of the Crippled Crows, a position he held from 2019 until 2026, and he is still an active playing member of the Crippled Crows. Doc also keeps himself very busy with being the current President of his beloved Barossa Rams Rugby Club, located in Tanunda in the Barossa Valley.

The Tanunda Medical Centre, through their association with Fraser, have been supporting the Crippled Crows for many years now. As well as actively playing in our regular season games, Doc has toured extensively with the Crippled Crows, and will again be travelling to Vancouver in 2027, to attend the 2027 World Golden Oldies Festival with the Crippled Crows.

The Crippled Crows are saying thank you to our business supporters and we wish to say thank you one of our Gold Sponsors, Moana Dairies.

Established in 2017, Moana Dairies is the lifeblood and passion for keen rugby man Don Stolp. Don is a current player with the Crippled Crows, and Moana Dairies have been continued supporters of the Crippled Crows for many years.

Although located in the States southeast, Don regularly takes a short break from running the farm to drive to Adelaide to play the game he loves with a passion. As with many of our regular members, Don has toured with the Crippled Crows to Perth (2023) and Singapore (2025) and will again be travelling to Vancouver in 2027, to attend the 2027 World Golden Oldies Festival with the Crippled Crows.

Thank you Moana Dairies.

The Crippled Crows are saying thank you to our business supporters and we wish to say thank you to one of our Silver Supporters, Nordkraft.

Dr Michael Riese, Managing Director at Nordkraft, is a past player with the Crippled Crows, and had this to say about his involvement with the Crippled Crows.

"As a former player in the Crippled Crows and having seen first-hand the value and camaraderie of bringing together rugby players 35 plus, I feel that it is important to continue to support this noble club.

In addition to having great memories of playing for the club between 2016 to 2024, I believe it is important to keep the opportunity of having a social club running for all of those who wish to remain active in our favourite sport but are no longer willing to risk the danger of injury during regular club games.

Having recently formed my own company, this opportunity was just at the right time to give back and remain involved, hopefully for a long time to come!"

Michael Riese, Managing Director, Nordkraft Pty Ltd

Thank you Nordkraft for your support.
