Sorry, no tennis tonight! It's just rained at Norwood & there's more ☔☔heading our way! We've had a good run on Tuesdays, so can't complain. See you next week 😊

Tuesday 16 June : Rain – we do love it 😊 … but it doesn’t mix well with tennis!! Everything is very wet … and even if there’s no further rain, the courts will take ages to dry … and that’s not good(!!) for safe tennis. So sadly, we are cancelling tonight’s social tennis. Fingers crossed for next Tuesday, when the days will be getting longer again 😊

Well done to the women's Division 1 team for reaching the final this season. Unfortunately Rostrevor were too strong on the day, but our team, consisting of Jenny, Jo, Kim, laurel and Alice, were gracious in defeat. We won the last set of the day to go down 5 sets to 1. Better luck next year.

It is Grand Final Day. The women's Division 1 team have reached the final after defeating the Dragon's last week. Today at 1 pm they play Rostrevor at Rostrevor tennis club. So please come along to support the team.

Update to last week's update - the Div 1 Women's Doubles team won their semi-final 🎉 and play a prelim final tomorrow!

Thanks to all those who came and cheered last Saturday ... it really helped 🥰

It was a long & hard fought match ... both teams played well and it was much closer on the court than the final scores indicated.

Tomorrow, the girls are up against the Greenacres Dragons 🐲 and the match is at their place so we'd love to see you and hear some Norwood cheers again! After you've done your bit for democracy, why not drop in? ... first serve 🎾 is at 1 pm.
