Sheidow Park Cricket Club Juniors

A solid weekend of cricket for our junior Bulls with plenty of strong performances across all ages 🐂🏏 Our U10 Maroon and U10 White teams continued to show great improvement with shared contributions both with bat and ball, while in the U14s R. Singh (41*) and L. Merriott (29) led the way as SPCC posted 9/161 before the bowlers kept Coromandel Ramblers to 6/147 with L. Marriott (2/8) and R. Singh (2/19) standing out. In the U16s J. Anderson (33) and A. Cook (23) pushed SPCC to 142, but Coromandel CC replied strongly despite a brilliant spell from O. Daunt (4/9) and support from L. Jenkins (2/16). Plenty of positives across the club as our juniors continue to develop and compete strongly every week 🐂🏏 #BullStrong #SheidowPride #SPCC

Sunday •. Under 12 teams is playing Keswick at The Pit, looking to keep building strong form. • Both our Under 14s and Under 16s will finish off their two-day matches to wrap up Round 4. 🏏 Round 3 & 4 Results Wrap-Up 🏏

Another huge weekend of cricket for the Bulls, with plenty of great performances and team spirit on show! 💪

Starting off Friday night, our Under 10s and Under 15 Girls made some really strong scores, showing great improvement and teamwork. Unfortunately, the Under 12 Girls match had to be abandoned halfway through the second innings due to rain.

The Under 16s kicked off their T20 campaign — not the result they were after, but they took it right down to the final over and came away with plenty of positives to build on.

On Sunday, our Under 12s piled on an impressive score, while the Under 14s battled hard across their two-dayer, taking away some valuable form and confidence.

And to top it all off — after Friday night’s T20 result, the Under 16s bounced back brilliantly, taking on the top-of-the-table team in their two-day match. With just 6 runs needed off the final over, the Bulls held their nerve and clutched the win! 🐂🔥

🏏 Weekend Wrap-Up 🏏

Unfortunately, this week some of our teams missed out on games for various reasons. However, there were still plenty of positives to take away! 🙌

A massive congratulations to Under 10’s player Rehaan Singh, who took an incredible 5-wicket haul (5fa) — an outstanding achievement! 🎉👏

Our Under 14’s also kicked off their T20 campaign. While the result didn’t go their way, the team showed great effort and determination throughout the match. They’ll learn from it and come back even stronger next time! 💪🐂

SACA are offering an amazing opportunity for junior players to be Ball Kids at an upcoming Adelaide Strikers Big Bash League match this season!

This is a fantastic way for kids to experience the thrill of being up close to the action, meet players, and be part of the match-day experience.

To be eligible, boys and girls must be aged 11 years or older and play community cricket.
