Ashley Steele has been around ETPLC for a very long time, and we were incredibly proud to have her join our women’s div 2 team for her debut senior game this past Saturday against Sturt!
Ashley played an absolutely incredible game in the women’s attack lines, contributing wonderfully to various offensive plays and movements and had some great shots on goal! Her speed around the field and determination to fight for the ball at every possible occasion was noticed and greatly valued by the team. All her efforts really helped towards a wonderful team game, resulting in a convincing win for the weekend!
Congratulations on your senior debut game Ashley, we’ve been consistently impressed by the improvement of your skills and game sense over the years. We’re extremely grateful to have you joining our senior ranks, and we can’t wait to see your lacrosse career continue into the future!!

A huge well done goes out to the recipient of this week's ETPLC & Bright Steps Academy Windsor Gardens U8s Young Star certificate, Frank Perham!
Frank played a wonderful team game, listening to every little instruction given by his coach and ensuring all his teammates got game time! He did a fantastic defensive job, finding his player & locking them down
This is a weekly post for some of our youngest juniors whose enjoyment and skill in lacrosse is something we want to help with, encourage and recognise. We can't wait to see these kids grow into the athletes of tomorrow!

Congratulations to Angus Vandellis for reaching a fantastic milestone of 100 senior games played for the Redwings this weekend!! Gus will be playing out this milestone game against Burnside this Saturday the 30th!
Gus has been about the club for many years now, helping out greatly both on and off the field, and is our current junior director, playing a big part in coordinating the massive growth ETP has seen in our junior ranks. We at ETPLC greatly appreciate your commitment and dedication to the sport and the club!! We can’t wait to cheer on your efforts Saturday!

Halen Rasmussen has made his way to Australia from overseas and got straight onto the lacrosse field again over the weekend, playing his senior debut for the Redwings on Saturday! Bringing over a history with the Rochester Institute of Technology NCAA div 2 team and representing NZ in the ASPAC’s in January this year, Halen certainly made his presence known on the field with the Div 1 team against Sturt
Halen demonstrated amazing game sense & knowledge, wonderful athleticism and great determination throughout the game this Saturday, fulfilling his usual position of short stick defensive midfielder wonderfully and even being pushed into the attacking frontlines on a number of occasions, giving him the opportunity for some shots on goal. His efforts also earned him recognition as one of the best players on the ground for the game!
Congratulations for your debut game with the Redwings Halen, we’re super proud to have you joining the team and can’t wait to follow your season in the red, white & blue jersey!

Before this Saturday, Logan Place was on a plane for more time than he was in Australia before getting back onto the lacrosse field, but this didn’t stop him from being a force to be reckoned with in his Redwings State League debut game
Playing defence on strong attackmen and running as a long-pole midfield, Logan put on a great display of athleticism throughout the game. Strong individual defence, great team co-ordination & communication and exceptional clearing work providing direct scoring opportunities had us all impressed and excited for the season ahead with Logan strengthening our defensive ranks as a WilmU starter and CACC defensive player of the week recipient
Even with cramps doing their best to hold him back, Logan played a brilliant game, earning the recognition of one of our best on ground for the weekend. Congratulations on your debut game with us Logan, we can’t wait to play more lacrosse with you

Andrew Dzubak only needed one game with us to earn a best on ground performance, even being fresh off of a long plane ride and with plenty of cramps going around. The unique brand of hustle and extra 1% efforts he brought to the game were felt from early on and were certainly indicative of a 2 time CACC player of the year and 2 time CACC first team player
Andrew was positioned in attack in his first game as a member of the Redwings against Sturt on Saturday and tallied up 4 goals for himself while also heavily contributing to plays that gave others quality looks on net, showing off his all-american class and quality. His presence was also heavily felt on turnovers and rides, where his intense defensive pressure at the halfway line slowed the Sturt players down, had them hesitating and even won us the ball back on a couple occasions
Everyone at the club is very excited to have Andrew playing with us this season, and we can’t wait to follow along with him through the upcoming games!! Congratulations on your debut game with ETPLC!

After last Saturday’s wonderful showing of lacrosse, we have lots of debuts to celebrate and we’d like to start with the newest addition to our Women’s team, Paige Morgan! For her first time playing a game of lacrosse, Paige showed a lot of determination and put forward a lot of hard work over the course of the game against the North Eagles!
Playing a lot of defensive work, Paige already has us all excited for her future in the club, putting her best foot forward by not giving up on any ground ball and showing a lot of grit in any one-on-one competitions
Congratulations on your debut game Paige, we can’t wait to have you by our side for the rest of the season!!

A huge well done goes out to the recipient of this week's ETPLC & Bright Steps Academy Windsor Gardens U8s Young Star certificate, Ava Ljubanovic!
Ava is one of our first year players who has developed her confidence and skill in the game more and more with each passing week! Last Saturday she played a super involved game, doing an amazing job with groundballs, shooting and defence!
This is a weekly post for some of our youngest juniors whose enjoyment and skill in lacrosse is something we want to help with, encourage and recognise. We can't wait to see these kids grow into the athletes of tomorrow!

This past week was National Volunteer Week 2026, and as a sports club that only functions thanks to the tremendous work of countless volunteers, we'd like to take this chance to thank each and every one of them; from those on our committee to the players who come out and lend a hand on the BBQ, to parents who help set up a field and everyone in between, we at ETPLC are truly thankful for your contributions
A special shoutout for this week goes towards the wonderful people who made our game day yesterday such a great success. Having lots of junior and senior games at ETP yesterday, it took a lot of work to keep things running smoothly. A big thank you to Devon, Scotty P, Lara, Boonie, Roland, Julie, Fort, Jess, Scott & the Vandellis family for manning the kitchen, BBQ and bar among other odd jobs that popped up, and thank you to everyone else not listed here for any help you put forward
As we continue this season, we are incredibly thankful for every volunteer that puts their hand up for any work around the club, big or small, it's thanks to you that we find ourselves in such a strong position for this year, and all the years to come
