JUNIOR CRICKET kicks off this weekend, starting Friday with our U10 and U12 sides taking the field.

Bit of a Salis West flavour to this weekend, with 3 of the 4 sides clashing with the cricket powerhouse.

Round 2 of the Men's competition coming up this weekend with 4 even contests sure to go the distance.
A Grade head out to Dauntsey looking to continue their good form, whilst the B grade resume hostilities with one of our oldest rivals, Para Vista, in the local Derby.

C Grade host Adel North East at Thomas Turner and the D Grade venture out to East Torrens Primary to face the Raggies.

Congratulations to young Amit from our U16s on a blistering 68.

Some very l***y hitting in the A and B grade - Varinder went nuts with a 20 ball 50 including 6x 6's, and Taran peeled off 60 in just 26 balls also with 6 bombs.

Not to be outdone, Davinderpal the new finisher came in and peeled off 30 in 8 balls including 5 maximums to get the B grade a bonus point.

What better way to enjoy summer than to play some community cricket. We are on the hunt for new players of all ages and abilities, veterans and newbies alike, to continue to strengthen our great club. Here's what you need to know:

🏏 40 over one day games – bat and bowl every week!

Enfield United Community Cricket Club was founded back in 1928, with a rich history the club once apart of the Churches competition, now apart of the Para District CA. Supporting 4 Mens, 2 womens teams and now juniors, new players are always welcome.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of Rob Turner, who passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning.
Rob was a truly remarkable person whose kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for others touched the lives of so many. He was someone who always stood up for the underdog and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His compassion and selflessness earned him the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rob was a proud and loyal member of the Enfield family for more than 50 years. He first joined the club in 1963 and went on to play more than 500 games, leaving an enduring legacy both on and off the field. His dedication, commitment, and passion for the club made him a cherished teammate, mentor, and friend, and his contribution to Enfield will never be forgotten.

On behalf of everyone at Enfield, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Rob's family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of a truly wonderful man.

Rest in peace, Rob. Your kindness, loyalty, and the difference you made in the lives of so many will always be remembered.

CONGRATULATIONS to Matt Bedgegood who has been awarded life membership for commitment, contributions and tireless service to the club. He becomes the first life member inductee since 2018.

Bedge has captained the A Grade on 8 occasions (2nd most ever), amassed 3,759 runs (18th All Time) including 4x 100's and taken 276 wickets (14th All Time).

Outside of playing, he founded + coached our Women's program, continues to co-ordinate and run Cricket Blast programs each season, founded our Junior Program, continues to coach multiple junior sides. Has seen our junior numbers grow each year since inception.

Club Coach, Chairman, Secretary, Statistical Officer, Junior Co-Ordinator and 14 seasons total serving on the committee.
