It was fantastic to see 15 MSSA Coaches, Trainees and Program Leaders out on Sunday 11 October for a Workshop with Paul from Aces Swimming. Despite a brief lightning interruption we all have new skills and renewed enthusiasm for our next coaching session. Many thanks to our demonstration swimmers and MSSA for supporting the day. See you at the next one! "

Last Saturday 10th Oct 2026 Simon (our President) and Steve (board director) attended and represented MSSA at the official opening of the new Payneham Swimming Centre here in Adelaide.
The pool and complex was opened by The Premier - the Hon Peter Malinauskas and City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peter’s Council Mayor Robert Bria (both photographed).

The centre is outstanding and MSSA looks forward to strengthening relationships with the pool, council and operators (BlueFit) with potential to hold some events or maybe even set up a new Master’s Swimming South Australia (MSSA) club potentially?

Thanks for having us and hopefully any members looking for an alternate pool for a swimming the East go check out the 50m outdoor and 25m indoor pool and the kids can even have a play on the water slide park.

LEANNE BEAMES RETIRES
After 30 years it is time for me to put away my laptop and hand over the reins to a new recorder for SA.

I have loved my role making many great friendships over the years. Stephanie Palmer-White has been training over the last year and took over the position for the SC State Cup.

Please show respect and support to Steph. She is available on
