Peter Holton - Sound Healing

Over the past couple of years I’ve been looking in to making small chimes and cymbal bells that can be used for sound therapy. Created from brass and bronze, each design carries unique sound frequencies.

On the 26th October at Ayurveda Village in Verdun I will be offering a Sound Healing experience as part of the 2024 ‘Wellness Wander’ event. The event runs from 2 to 4:30pm and will consist of a talk on Ayurveda practice by Dr. Shweta Rao followed by a group Sound Healing session by myself. The session is $25 per person (+ booking fee) and bookings can be made by following the link below. The village itself is a beautiful relaxed setting, complete with labyrinth and a nature walk.

Exhibition @ Stirling 5th-13th August
HANDMADE RAINSTICKS + NEW SONIC INSTRUMENT 'STARFIELDS'

If you would like to experience some of the sound healing instruments I create then I will have some items on display at an exhibition in Stirling from 5th-13th August. There will be around 5 or 6 handmade eucalyptus rainsticks as well as the new 'Starfields’ instrument.

The exhibition itself has been setup by Norma Mansell, a water colour artist, who creates some stunning floral works. It will be held in a small studio on her property. The event is a part of this year's SALA, however you wont find my name within the event program. See details below:

This is my latest collection of handmade rainsticks. Each one is made from eucalyptus branch and has its own unique sounds when played. Great instruments for relaxation, reflection and healing.
