The weather is warming up so come on out for social tennis tonight. Mixed doubles or singles. Depending on the number of people we would like to start a mini social competition!

Official opening tomorrow of the upgraded playground at Trott Park Neighbourhood Centre Hessing Crescent. Come and check out our community tennis courts along with new netball and basketball rings.

We would love for you to join us, Mayor of Marion Kris Hanna and the Hon Amanda Rishworth MP, as they officially open the upgraded playground Hessing Crescent Reserve, located at Trott Park Neighbourhood Centre! 👏🎉

🕧 Open day activities at Trott Park Neighbourhood Centre from 11 am to 1 pm

Following the official opening, the Trott Park Neighbourhood Centre will be hosting an open day with come and try activities, face painting, bush tucker planting, craft activities and much more!

These upgrades have been jointly funded through the Australian Government’s Investing in Our Communities Program, and the City of Marion.

🎾Summer registrations are now open for the 24/25 competition season at Southbank Tennis Club.

Senior registrations are due by 28 August 2024
Junior registrations are due by 12 September 2024

Our club is associated with GDTA and offers the following competition tennis:

*Seniors Womens and Mens GDTA
*Mixed Doubles offered for GDTA & SDTA

On this day in 1994...
Our new clubrooms were officially opened on the 20th August 1994, the club was then known as Trott Park Tennis Club.
At the time we had more than 200 members 😮
If anyone has any photos from back then we would love to see them!

The City of Marion have recently installed a basketball and netball ring on our community tennis courts and a new playground is coming very soon next door at Trott Park Neighbourhood Centre Marion Community Centres. This area is great for families to come and enjoy a hit of tennis, shoot some hoops and enjoy the surrounding open space and nearby walking trails and bike paths.

This is an urgent message to all past, present and future members!

We need your help to save our club!

We'll be at the club on Sunday 23rd June from 1:00pm for a catch-up and reminisce about past glories - bring your racquet for a social hit, BBQ and drinks - we'll have some snags etc and you're welcome to BYO food.

We would love to hear from you if you can support the club in any way.

Rhees will also be at the club to keep Social tennis running - every Wednesday night from 6:30pm starting 13th June - you'll be more than welcome to come out - play table-tennis, 8-ball, have a hit or use the ball machine.
