Sometimes it’s important to show the parts of fighting that people don’t see.
This is an old episode of Warriors of the Mongkon that captured a pretty difficult time in my career.
You see the loss. The injury. The physical and emotional toll of giving everything you have and still walking away without the result you wanted.
That’s fighting.
It’s not always the wins, the celebrations, the photos or the highlights. There are plenty of moments where things don’t go your way. Moments where you question yourself. Moments where you hurt.
But then you get back up!
Over the last 20 years, I’ve experienced a lot of those moments. The highs, the lows, the wins, the losses, the injuries, the setbacks and the comebacks.
Now, as a coach, I find myself trying to pass those experiences on to the next generation.
So when I speak, when I push you, when I tell you something isn’t good enough or ask more from you, it doesn’t come from a textbook.
I’ve lived it.
Everything I teach now has come from somewhere .. years of being in that ring, getting things right, getting things wrong, losing, learning and getting back up.
Fighting has never been easy.
And it never will be.
But that’s exactly why it’s worth it 🙏🏼

What a weekend 🥊
Friday night was one of our biggest Development Days yet and we just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who came down and made it what it was.
A special shoutout to the volunteers from Muaythai South Australia who gave up their Friday night to come out and help.
All of our Development Days are sanctioned through Muay Thai South Australia, which means these events also give their officials a chance to develop their judging and refereeing skills, get some experience and keep learning.
They’re volunteering their time, often for a long night because they love the sport and want to see it grow.
It doesn’t go unnoticed 💛
Big thanks to everyone who continues to support these days and helps us keep building the Muay Thai community 🥊
A little trip down memory lane 🎥
We came across this reel recently and realised we never shared it.
At the time, we’d only been in our gym for around 18 months. Now we’ve just ticked over three years in this space and looking back really makes you appreciate how much our community has grown.
This session was with a local basketball club who wanted to mix up their training and try something different.
Since then, we’ve been lucky enough to welcome a number of local sporting clubs.. including football teams through our doors for pre-season sessions.
One of the best parts is watching teams step outside their usual environment, challenge themselves, have a laugh and discover just how much Muay Thai has to offer.
Whether your club is looking to build fitness, improve teamwork, boost confidence or simply break up the usual training routine.. we’d love to help.
A huge thank you to all the clubs who’ve trusted us over the past few years. We’re looking forward to welcoming plenty more onto the mats.

🔥 5K Burgers are back! 🍔
We’re excited to welcome 5K Burgers back to our next Technicians Interclub!
The boys have been a huge part of our last couple of events, serving up their awesome smashed burgers and drinks and we’re stoked to have them back again.
So come down, cheer on your teams, support the next generation of Muay Thai athletes and treat yourself to one of the best burgers going around while you’re there.

Sang had a great night last night .. taking on a 4-man tournament with two wins 🥇
I knew he was capable of performing well, but I’ll be honest… he exceeded my expectations.
His composure, skill and fight IQ were on full display and it was a great reminder of just how much potential he has as a Muay Thai athlete.
He’s still developing but heading in a really exciting direction.
A big thankyou to both of his opponents for stepping in and giving Sang two quality fights.
Thankyou as always to everyone from the club for their support!! Whether it’s staying for rounds in the gym or coming to the event 💛 We always feel you out there!
