At Marion Libraries we are keen to keep things fresh, innovative and on trend in our libraries. With that in mind, we are thrilled to announce a bold new initiative we are undertaking that incorporates the latest in interior design trends: Backwards books!

We love the minimalist look of this trend and in future even plan to use accent pieces with bold splashes of colour that will really be set off against the uniform look of the pale book pages.

Understandably this may take some getting used to from borrowers and staff alike but we feel confident that once everyone sees the unique look and appreciates the fun aspect of not knowing what book you are going to come across, everyone will embrace this bold new step.

Never be afraid to feed your ego. Often your ego needs a little bit of attention as it can get knocked around. We believe there is a difference between posting good deeds on social media to show you care, verses caring and that's just part of your everyday, so when you show a good deed, it's part of who you are. Businesses are the same, post of social media your acts of being a good corporate citizen. Remember that you need to take the steps that you truly are a good corporate citizen and that the intention is heartfelt, other wise you are just another human and or business that does it to LOOK good, not BE good. We are proud to support Kristine and her amazing campaign to create a community to Dare to Care = choosing Courage over Comfort. Will you and your business help us? Will you walk 1000 kilometres by December 31st 2018, or will you donate $10 for 10kilometres to help us raise $20,000. MND doesn't discriminate, has no government funding and has no cure. So MND South Australia care until their is a cure.
