Day 5

Unfortunately our Open Team lost their Bronze Medal Final 1-2 ….in a hard fought game.

At half time they were 2-0 down, they worked hard in the second half and got a goal back, however, despite a great team effort, they could not find an equaliser, it was a good game played in great spirit, both sides gave it their all.
Congratulation’s to VicPol.

The end of a great week in Hobart , good camaraderie, many laughs and friendships made, onwards and upwards to the next APES Games in the Gold Coast in 2026.

Day 4

Good results from both squads, the Open team came from behind and drew 1-1 with NSW Eagles in a hard fought game, they followed that up with a convincing 10-0 victory over QLD Pol2 to secure a place in the 3rd v 4th Bronze medal final.

Congratulations to the over 35’s Masters who won a Bronze medal after finishing in 3rd place after beating QLD White 6-0 this morning & then secured a 3-0* victory over NSW Crows.

Tomorrow, the focus is on our Open Team
in their Bronze Medal Final against arch rivals, VicPol….good luck to all involved.

Day 3,

Starting to take its toll on the vets 🤣

Some great results, unfortunately in the last game the 35’s were beaten by a good Qld side.

And in the darts , Snowy & Crossy fell at the Quarter final stage in the doubles.

Well done to all, a great spirit / camaraderie within the group💪

Fantastic game , Shrikes 4-1 down, came back to draw 4-4 thanks to 4 goals from Halikias , unfortunately we lost 3-2 on penalties , great to be invited by Ron and Vicpol to play this special memorial game for Tony Clarke , a great trip , lovely to meet Tony’s family ❤️
